In addition to the DCTs, the wet clutch restriction applies to motorcycles that have the engine and transmission sharing the engine oil. The Cera Tec with it's friction modifiers would have a negative affect on the wet clutch in my V-Rod and reduce it's ability to hold the power, for example.
I did something similar for mine, and only added the one bottle. Made a HUGE difference on mine with only what I would say is normal valvetrain noise remaining. I think on my next change I'll do 2 bottles instead and see if it reduces it further...or I'll just let it burn off a little more oil and replace it with another bottle lol
I’ve got a 2015 gen 2 engine 5.0 and I just got the tick after changing my oil at 108,571 miles. I ended up switching to 5w30 and it didn’t fix it so now I’m here and am going to try ceratec tomorrow hoping this fixes it.

Did you have any luck?
@@Driven2Review yup it’s gone, if u have 8 quarts of oil add 1 and a half bottles of ceratec
@@Driven2Review do it every oil change it’s expensive but it’s the only fix ig
@@vincentvincenzo8418 I only added 1 bottle to my tank and I haven’t had a single noise since! It’s the way to go for sure
It’ll come back after a while.
It comes back after oil changes for me and then goes away after a while, so on so forth
