  • How many times do I say "so" and "you know" in this video? Hey I'm an amateur, cut me a break. Anyway there are some great 1/64 models like the pink Peako Apollo, but not sure if they are a better value than 1/87 scale cars.

    The details are really good for such a small scale. Nice review!

    Nice top dollar 1/64s you got there! Of all the cars shown I only have the Peako Apollo and I think it's worth it. LBWalk makes handful of Lamborghini Huracan that are very nice too, but my most prized 1/64 in the $60 mark goes to a Timothy&Pierre Porsche Singer targa that i own. Cheers!

    Yes they are definitely worth it! That's why I have almost of all the cars you showed!

      Only the ScaleMini 250LM is probably not worth it since it has such huge wheels; it's rolling on 20"+ rims when I compare to the SCM 250GTO which looks realistic.

    Nice collection of models that do represent the higher echelon of 64 scale brands. In my opinion the top of the line is the T&P range notably the Singer 911 line which for its only off set being smaller than the indicated 64 scale is an almost accurate representation of the real thing. Titan64 a sister brand of the Japanese Make Up Co is the other top notch product (not shown in this line up). Although the overall lines and most of the detailing of the Ferrari GTO are impressive there are serious flaws in its composition. Namely the lack of exhaust pipes and the presence of a diffuser which is non existent in those days. The spoke wheels are wrong in design being constructed from flat pe
    sheet. The 250 LM has the correct ones. All in all a welcome initiative in presenting the various brands in this way.

      Every country has different pricing and limited models vary a lot so it's a waste of time. That's what the Internet is for.

    Just curious, but what are the two fantasy/concept cars 2nd from the left in the last two rows of your car display behind? They look like Hot Wheels cars, but don't look familiar.

    Is the SCM 250 GTO a licensed model? Ferrari is very selective in who gets their license to make scale models.

    • @smallmodelcollector
      @smallmodelcollector  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is not, there's nothing indicating this is a Ferrari except the prancing horse on the grill. Packaging is blank.

      @@smallmodelcollector oh alright. That's what I was wondering. My best bet is that they scanned a 250 GTO in someone's private collection to make it happen.

    Hahaha not high end yet wait till you see Igniton model Resin and the Lamboghini Terzo from MR collection. Resins at 90 USD and up.
    P.S. Take a look at Inno 64 they do both diecast and recently resin check my album out. Their only resin model currently is the LBWK E34 which look great.
    For Porsche there is PGM which does many RWB with opening parts, T&P as you mentioned for Singers (though some say Titan64 is better but I dun own them)
    Also a to note coming is YM model which is doing resin model too. They do various brand mods and their latest pending is a proclaimed advanced version which is supposedly more detailed. (It's also a Singer DLS)

    Kyosho and Tomica have different value 1/64 series. Basic series that are cheaper and less detailed - Premiums and Higher-end ones. It is unfair that you say "Kyosho" as if talking about the whole brand when they blow MiniGT out of the water with their higher end series that are priced almost the same as MiniGTs. To be fair Kyoshos that are 5 to 10 bucks are usually sold in Asia in Supermarket for kids, and are more like basic-line cars. 17 to 25 dollar ones are the ones which do have air in the rims (that you mentioned) that are just higher quality. Know your diecast before you speak like you are saying facts, when you actually don't know a brand!!
