My Quantum Energy PT E760 chameleon paint bait castor is one of my favorites to fish with and since your video on fixing backlash has saved me soo much stress and this technique works every time.
Well Mr Bill thank you for the technique on a backlash I'll try and remember the next time that it happens I'll try and keep it in mind but most of my baitcasters I have I set them up like you said you got to set it to a certain setting and then tweak it out but thank you for the information it's something that I didn't know but it's real good advice thank you have a great day
Sometimes I also try to just back the drag off till it barely has tension and just pull the line off like that. It seems to work well for the not so bad backlash
On a back lash accidentally drop the real in the lake and barrow one from you, Jimmy or Roland. When are you three going to get together and fish? It would be like watching the three stooges! GOD bless you! keep on keepin on!
If you have a body of water that is 75% dense lily pads and the rest has spots of grass, what’s the best way to attempt fishing it in the fall as vegetation dies off?
@@waydebaker33 I punch it in the summer and early fall for sure, though it gets to be like needle-in-a-haystack fishing when the pads are thick. The pad canopy really isn’t there for punching by now, though flipping the last remaining green edges would probably be the best bet. Didn’t get me bit over the weekend though! 🤣 No takers on topwater either. Or spinnerbaits in the open sections... ...or anything else I tried! 😜
@@dakotalayinlow tried that some, but had no takers. It’s a great place when it’s just pad stems in the early spring, or when the pads are sparse in late spring and early summer. It’s pretty tough from mid-June on though. So many places for fish to hide and it’s basically unnavigable!
I've never had a backlash but, I have had several professional over runs!
😂🤣🤠👍 Thanks Mr Bill. Stay Safe and GOD Bless 🙏🕊🐟🦅🇺🇸
Loved that Double hook up with 2 rods! Even better how you called it first!
Ive used and shared this tip more times than I can count, THANK YOU BILL!
Amazing how people are still somehow stubborn about this and refuse to try it. Fishermen are a class by themselves lol.

Adding the index finger and middle finger is a new development from Bill's original method of using his thumb only.

Is anyone giving away a Z21 with panoptix? I’ll even take a Z18.
He just casually catches five pounders and doesn’t even say anything about them 🎣
Magic 🤭🤔? 🤓😎🥳✊💪👍🇺🇸
Uh.... I thought everyone knew how to do this.
