Having an issue determining the proper orientation. Looks like the opening of the collar is facing towards the wheel? Not difficult, just time consuming.
Nice work! Just recently put mine in with the z1 diff bushing. Also put on a z1 diff cover and got to say it took me all day to all that stuff in 😅 glad you found how to do it the first time. But yes my diff bushing was rusted in there so had to touch it out and cut it out. Nothing is easy with an 08 g37s coupe lol. Love your videos 🤙🏽
I will say trying to get the rusted cat bolts off was a pain in the assss! 2 button bolts weren't that bad but the top one through the engine bay was such a beotchhhhhh even tho that was the easiest to reach lol
Definitely going to be waiting on a review for this. Also im sure you have a video but did you do front and rear or just a certain one ? I plan to get hotkins sway bar as well
Appreciate you brother! Question, what is this Gap issue that I am reading on some sub collar installations, something about not sitting flush and the collar itself looking like it’s moving instead of being in place. Thank you and Godspeed.
I meant to ask you previously, how does the car handle speed bumps, pot holes, etc.... on those lowering springs? edit: Because I live in NYC and I would like to lower my q50 (that'll be delivered tomorrow), but I also want ti be able to not have to worry about that stuff.
Haven’t had any issues. Speed bumps just take slow-I always approach at an angle just in case. I try to avoid potholes but they are inevitable. The springs are stiff but not that stiff so it handles road imperfections quite well
what do you think about the bushings? do you recommend them? I got bc racing coilovers, swaybars, strut bar, wheels and tires coming soon, and now im thinking about getting these
Hey man i’m lowered less than an inch on BC coilovers on my AWD. before & after a dealership alignment, my front and rear camber are off by an entire degree in comparison to the other sides (ex: FL -1 degree, FR -2 degrees, and the same orientation for rears) I have a hard time believing installing coilovers that are damn near even in ride height from left to right on both sides, could be causing this dramatic uneven camber. As a matter fact, the RH side of car is ever so slightly higher than the left, but yet has the extra negative camber. Do you think it could be the subframe being uneven from some recent work i did on the front that involved removing the subframe and putting back on? Or the bushings worn out on the subframe? But then why the rear as well? Dealership is telling me to get a camber kit to fix it (DUH!) but that doesn’t explain what could be causing this insane uneven camber in the first place and its driving me nuts. I’ve read it COULD hve to do with LCA bushings, idk at this point. This car has been nothing but a nightmare. AWD makes everything more dramatic.
@@SpeedCultureStudios Might have to bring her into a performance shop. I just don’t wanna hear the “get the adjustable kit” anymore lol. Theres no reason camber should be -2 degrees on one side when its less than an inch lowered. Hopefully can have someone figure that one out.
Change your playback settings. Sounds perfect for me at about 30% volume. Hard to adjust sound for everyone when it sounds perfect for me on mobile and pc

Great video as usual. Once budget allows going to follow the same setup 💯
Thank you! Full review coming soon!
i wish you had a vid on how to install top strut mounts on bc coils i cant find one anywhere 🤦🏼♂️
Fronts or rears?
Turn the volume up please thank you
Adjust your playback settings. Perfect volume for me at 35% on mobile and pc.
Hey man did you get to review these? I bought some wheels at fitment industries and added your name as how you heard about us :)
Hell yeah. Review vid will be going up soon!

Review for next week probably.
I have front and rear hotchkis sway bars.

I’m not sure about the gap issue. You just have to be sure the collars are oriented properly and lubed a bit so they slide into place correctly.
I need to get those.
worth it!

Speed Culture Studios Alrighty! Sounds good, thanks a lot m8!

I like them. Full review coming this weekend!

It could be a bushing issue. I hate to think if, but cars off the factory floor are not always “perfect.” Really hard to say.

@@verefiedxL I hear you on that! They should be able to figure something out in terms of cause
Nice!
Where u get ur springs from
Redline360 I think
I want to ask a question what drivetrain you got (AWD,RWD,FWD) ??
RWD. There is no fwd Q50.
Speed Culture Studios with the sway bar u have the set or the rear?? cause I purchase the rear but the mechanic saying I should get the set
troy spazz I got both because of what my intended is was, but you do not need both. The rear has the biggest impact in this car.
Fwd? 🤦♂️
Great video.... is time for a better mic!
Sound is fine. Check your playback settings.
Definitely want better equipment, but car stuff is priority right now lol!
Any subframe bushing for the front
No, not that I know of. solid engine mounts, would be the closest thing. Otherwise adding braces is the next best thing.
@@SpeedCultureStudios thank you

Heck yeah!
Very nice Q 🥵
Thanks man!
Yurp
Bruv, you gotta get a separate microphone for your videos - all are very quiet
