Very nice setup. Formula wheel looks sick. I’m running triples w stand, gt1-evo w sc2, HE sprint and F/R shakers. You’d almost be right at home in my rig ha. Have fun with it!
The only component likely to improve speed, is the brake, oddly enough. Other than that, it's all about making it more "real". Many of the things that make it more immersive, slow you down in fact.
@@2trackminded 100%. If you like it more you will do it more. But one of the top racers in the world, uses a Logitech G29. That really pisses me off ;-)
Looks like you got the setup from micro city .. also, that Gomez wheel felt disappointing when I tried it at micro city … the paddle shifter kinda reminds me of the $200 mclaren wheel fanatec sells
I like how the setup turned out for you! I'm currently also adding triples, and what would you know, I went with the same monitor stand. We end up making a lot of the same equipment choices. Difference is I'm much more constrained for space at the moment and my rig is a hybrid with my usual pc use. I had to remodel everything recently to accomodate the stand, which is still work in progress. My room is 215x270cm so it is a very fine balancing act fitting all that gear, the chair, and a bed, while considering that the door opens inside, and to still have some breathing room. I will have tro make a tour video myself once all is set in stone - avaiting VESA 100x100 bracket and a last tv to arrive.
I know these alum profile rigs are great and all but does anybody agree that there boring and ugly? Highly functional and strong i get it but there just so plain and boring and they look like a rig made of 2x4's painted grey there just plain. I would have to at the very least custom paint one to spruce it up some. Rseat is on the right track with there newer line but there too proud of them price wise so just buy the 8020 rig i guess. The newer sim lab looks a little better the x1 pro i think there calling it but decked out and readyfor everything including triples is like $3500.00 or something these things are out of control price wise for as basic as they are. Nice setup u got there though and your right your future proof and will never need another rig but i do predict you will get bored how it looks and end up building a roof over it orsomething crazy to change up how bored u get with it

Having higher end components such as DD, load cell, and a strong rig absolutely make you faster. There's no question.

Get a roll of black tape and put a strip between the monitors from behind and that will hide the little gap between them

Agreed - but personally the immersion makes me come back and practice more because it’s more enjoyable :)
