    here is a tip for people who dont have the room for triple monitor's go get a single Ultrawide 21:9 or a Super Ultrawide 32:9 monitor that will save on having a bulky 3 monitor stand, I switched to 21:9 and now I cant go back to 16:9 as feels to small no matter the screen size.

    • @TheMash84
      @TheMash84 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Definitely! Went from 16:9, to 21:9 then settled on curved 32:9.
      It's great for immersion! Thanks to the ergotron hx arm I have it placed at about 60cm from me and as I've to used the desk for other stuff, I can push it back and use the desk as normal (my rig is on wheels)

    One thing that really helped me was Sim 3D rumble kit for pedals. A DDU is also a must-have but I saved a ton of money using an eBay ($25) iPad mini and a DIY mount.

    I've not tried a triple screen but the depth of field and sense of speed from VR makes cornering way more natural

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Definitely! VR offers an immersive experience, making cornering feel more natural. It provides a wider field of view and enhances spatial awareness, aiding in precise maneuvers. Personal preferences may vary, but both VR and triple screens have their advantages. Enjoy your racing and thanks for watching!

    Dayton makes one, too.

    Fanetec v3 pedals , so good ,
    I love how they shake when i lose grip.

    My list includes a high quality round wheel. I like shifting with my H pattern and sequential shifter as much as paddle shifters. I only use the H pattern and sequential shifter with my round wheel.

    Great video! I've added a bunch of DIY addons, as well as purchased prefab addons. Here's what I've added: 49" Odyssey G9 ultrawide monitor with 34" Odyssey G5 above for lap/track data and map, DIY rumble motors on my Sim Jack Pro pedals, DIY wind simulator with adjustable vent direction, DIY turn indicator with flash and rain feature, DIY Racing Tach, three Android displays for vehicle data including one in a DDU mount for my 6.2Nm TS-XW RACER, DIY two ignition/button boxes (one with key, the other with ignition toggle and push button with also 4-way joystick for seat position), two iflag/spotter colour matrix's for either side top of 49" monitor, additional red matrix for gear indicator/lap info, DIY emergency stop button, custom console for Sequential Shifter, H-Pattern Shifter and Handbrake. Steering Column 6mm extension to bring more space between the wheel and wheelbase, Six wheels including 350mm deep dish round leather wrap for rally or drifting, original T300 rim only, no button box on generic hub screw mount for legacy open wheel, Custom GT wheel rim for original T300 button box hub, TM EVO 32R Leather, TM Ferrari SF1000 & TM Ferrari 488 GT3. Sim racing is so immersive and so much fun it should be illegal!! Make it your own and have a blast! Cheers✌😎

    VESA vario for triples is a must, streamdeck is by far the best buttonbox , a tablet holder for my keyboard , a buttkicker . That’s it

    I use sim dashboard on both an old phone and tablet rather than a DDU, for the price you can't really go wrong. Same with stream deck, I use another tablet with touch portal. Don't get physical buttons with feedback so not as viable for VR use and has a bit more setting up to do but again for the cost you can't go wrong. 25 bucks and I have hundreds of dash layouts and essentially a stream deck with 100 buttons.
    Does require you to have a few spare devices to run all these things though so probably not worth it unless you have them.

    my brother in Christ that is an $1100 wheel. between Moza, Fanatec, and Asetek there is only 1 wheel that costs more. in fact, there's only 1 wheel that comes within $400 of it, and it's the actual wheel they use in BMW GT3 cars. what about that says affordable at all?

    If you've got the budget then try it? Man's recommending you just try a nearly 1500 dollar wheel like it's a whim purchase. Also with the way he spoke about it it really sounds like a sponsorship which is not being disclosed. Notice he says "since I acquired it from Grid" making it ambiguous as to if he purchased it himself or if it was given to him as part of a deal. Not sure the FTC would approve of this behaviour.

    • @simracingden
      @simracingden  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I appreciate your concern regarding the cost of the Grid MPX Wheel and the importance of transparency in sponsorships/collaborations. I assure you that I always disclose when a product has been sent for review, and in this case, the wheel was purchased by me. I understand that a $1500 wheel isn’t within everyone’s budget, which is why I aim to review a variety of hardware across different price points in my videos.
