He looks like a Batman Villain from a failed Batman movie and they were too scared to fire steve buscemi so they just moved him into this movie. John Malkovich legit looks like he didn't know he was going to be in this.
The female guard was Melina in Total Recall. Diamond Dog is Ving Rhames who was Marcellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction and Johnny-23 is Danny Trejo who would later be Machete.
you forgot Colm Meaney as Agent Duncan Malloy known as Star Trek's One and only Miles O'Brien and the other than Stargate SG 1's General George Hammond the late Don S. Davis

@@patrickflanagan3762 A very good point. The purpose of art is to provoke an emotional response, doesn't matter what particular emotional response a piece is going for, it all counts as Art 👍
Nicolas Cage said on set that "There is only one man in this movie that scares me". Which was Danny Trejo who he ironically confronts more than anyone else in this movie. The reason being is that Danny Trejo was an actual criminal before becoming an actor.
I really miss this era of action films. Hard R rated, ridiculous, stupid yet super entertaining, never boring and, most of all, fun. I went to the cinema to see this back in ‘97 and loved every second. Still love it now. Keep up the awesome reactions 🙂❤️
I always thought this was a Michael Bay movie. It’s just produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Who’s movies has equally as many explosions as Bay. Hence the confusion.
The machine that killed Cyrus is a pile driver. They are used to drive supports (piles) into the ground for buildings and bridges. Its purpose is to act as an enormous, automated hammer.
The guy at the beginning bar fight that Cage kills is “Waingro” from Heat. Also from Heat in this movie was his cellmate (“Bubba”), who was Pacino’s detective partner & Danny Trejo (Johnny 23”) who was part of De Niro’s gang.
John Malkovich: Man in the Iron Mask, Secretariat, Being John Malkovich, Warm Bodies, In the Line of Fire, Dangerous Liasons John Cusack: Identity, Better Off Dead, Say Anything, Runaway Jury Nicolas Cage: The Weather Man, Bringing Out the Dead, Kickass, Ghost Rider, Windtalkers, Trapped in Paradise (Christmas movie)
It's why I can't punish my daughter. Her room is ALWAYS trashed, but her bunny is in the box because of this movie. It's really hard to get mad when ur kid is cracking up and a stuffed bunny is peeking at u😂😂😂😂
In case anyone missed it, the driver of the Volvo the body landed on was the actor Don S. Davis who played General Hammond from Stargate SG1 and a ton of other things. He died in 2008 of a heart attack, which is odd in a way as he died of a heart attack in season 4 of SG1 during a flash forward timeline episode. He also played Scully's dad in x-files and died of a heart attack there too. He was excellent as Hammond due to his real life military career.
66th Oscar's Best Supporting Actor nominees: Malkovich (In the Line of Fire), Jones (The Fugitive), Fiennes (Schindler's List), DiCaprio (What's Eating Gilbert Grape), & Postlethwaite (In the Name of the Father). Snubs: Kingsley (Schindler's List), Kilmer (Tombstone), Penn (Calito's Way), Oldman (True Romance), etc...
No military man in the state of Alabama would ever go to jail for self defense when its clear they were ambushed unless he was in a county or jurisdiction where the people already didnt like him
Another Nic Cage classic with classic one liners / dialogue from the cast. Glad you guys were finally reacting to this film! 😁 Oh, and you guys killed me with the commentary..."Dirty Colombian...I can say that." Calling the little girl with Steve Buscemi "creepy" 😂 And Samantha calling the bunny a sewer bunny. 😂
The bad guys are really bad, the good guys are really good (despite having been in jail!), and the action scenes are full of explosions, destruction, and sweaty, muscular men.
If you liked John Malkovich as a villain you NEED to see him in In The Line of Fire with Clint Eastwood! Really really good movie in general and he is soooo good in it. It's a movie about an aging Secret Service Agent (Eastwood) protecting the President from threats, namely Malkovich as he's threatened to assassinate the Pres. Such a good movie!
I still remember my brother and me found $40 on the ground. And we decided to do a double feature of Con-Air and Face-Off. We both loved both movies, one of the most memorable times at the cinemas.
Con Air is one of the great moments in movie history. The sheer number of awesome actors, characters, scenes, lines...it's ridiculous. It demands nothing and gives everything. An absolute "have your cake and eat it too" moment.
The idea that he would get so much prison time for self-defense is absurd. But the most absurd part is the judge saying "You are a deadly weapon and are not subject to the same laws as other people..." How about read the 14th Amendment. That conviction and sentence would get thrown out in appeal.
Another Nicolas Cage film that would be worth watching is the criminally underrated psychological drama, Bringing Out the Dead (1999), directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Paul Schrader, based on the novel of the same name by Joe Connelly, co-starring Patricia Arquette, John Goodman, Ving Rhames, and the late Tom Sizemore.
You have to remember, they do have to take into consideration whether people are going to watch the reaction. Bringing Out The Dead would be one of their least watched videos, if not the least watched video, ever.
John Malkovich and another one of your favorites =. Clint Eastwood in the movie: “In The Line Of Fire” John playing another crazy, genius bad guy!! Another great John Malkovich movie, totally different character for him is: “Places In The Heart” with Sally Field and Danny Glover and Ed Harris and Amy Madigan (Ed’s wife , she was in Field of Dreams)!! Beautiful movie!! Sally won an Oscar for it!!!!!!!!
It WAS Bubba from Forrest Gump...Mykelti Williams...but no shrimp on THAT flight 😂 One of my all time fav Cage movies= KNOWING. Captivating from start to finish, a top notch mystery thriller.
The one movie with John Malkovich that I would recommend most highly is the Clint Eastwood thriller "In The Line Of Fire". Malkovich was nominated for an Oscar for that movie. In addition to "Being John Malkovich", a few other good ones are "Rounders", "Burn After Reading" and "Dangerous Liaisons."
Don't forget FACE OFF which is Nicholas Cage's other great action movie, and one of the best action movies of the 90s. A very expensive movie and you can feel every dollar on screen, all filmed in a real way, no CGI, they even crash a real plane.
On any other day, that might seem strange... My favorite line of this fun action gem. The cast is A+, everyone seems like they are having a blast, Malkovich aggressively enunciates every line 😅, and Buscemi being weird 🤣🤣🤣
This is no doubt the best tongue in cheek action movie ever! It is like the writers were looking for the most fun way to write a self aware 1990s action movie. Right down to the "Great Escape" style video credits at the end.
You should definitely watch Being John Malkovich… though it might be even better if you watch him in a few other movies first so you get to know him as an actor first. Great reaction as always! 🎉
Finally, We're flying the unfriendly skies tonight!👍 This will always be one of My All-Time Favorites with Nicolas Cage; it's Fully Loaded with Action, Attitude and Fun! I hope Y'all watch "Face/Off" and "Gone in 60 Seconds" (2000) soon...also, the "National Treasure" Movies are always Fun!!
For more John Cusack, you should check out the criminally overlooked Grosse Point Blank. It's an action/rom-com where Cusack plays a hitman who goes to his high school reunion, also stars Minnie Driver, Dan Ackroyd & the late Alan Arkin.
You left out his sister. Joan Cusack is in it as well. Awesome movie though. I think a lot of people overlook it because they're put off by it being a rom-com. If they only knew how badass it was!
@@cmudd9788 I know she's in it as well, I've seen the film. It also has Hank Azaria, Jeremy Piven and John/Joan's other sister Ann. But I wasn't about to list the *entire* cast.
For John Malkovich films: "In the Line of Fire" "Red" and "Red 2" "Penguins of Madagascar" "Dangerous Liasions" "Being John Malkovich" "Making Mr. Right" The last two are pretty crazy! 😄
This is the film that made me love John Malkovich as an actor, such a batshit crazy performance. I highly recommend watching Dangerous Liaisons: Malkovich and Glenn Close are stellar in the film.

I saw this in theaters back in summer of 97, on vacation at an Imax theater, unbelievable experience. 90's era Nicholas Cage in a Jerry Bruckheimer produced cheesy action movie where he's not only sporting a nice long mane, but has a southern accent as well. As a southerner, I felt honored.
The best Malkovich recommendation I could send you would be Dangerous Liaisons from the late 80s, with Uma Thurman and Michelle Pfeiffer. It was the story Cruel Intentions was based on.

Gives me nostalgia vibes from when u guys first started and I was going thru the hardest time in my life, and one of the few things that brought me joy/happiness were your videos. 😢. Love you guys and I don’t even know you lol. Thanks for all the entertainment!
Oh Nick Cage also played in a little known movie with the great Dennis Hopper called Red Rock West. He is younger most definitely. Love Con Air. Love all your reactions! Beautiful couple!
In the Line of Fire is a great John Malkovich film with Clint Eastwood. Being John Malkovich is a good one and has John Cusack in it as well. If you want more Cusack check out Grosse Point Blank, The Grifters, Say Anything, The Sure Thing and Better Off Dead.
One of my favorites! Watched it in theaters like 3 times 😂. Colm Meaney (DEA guy) is known for his Chief O'Brien character in Star Trek TNG and Deep Space Nine and he is the total opposite of this character, so its kinda jarring 🤣. Awesome reaction!!
Great reaction!!! Love this movie, so much cheesy over the top 90’s everything! One of John Malkovich’s most iconic performances is in the period piece drama, Dangerous Liaisons from 1988. It also has a stacked cast of supporting actors and actresses that would become some of the most iconic characters in modern cinema later in their careers. Empire of the Sun from 1987 is a WW2 drama that was directed by Steven Spielberg that stars Malkovich and a child actor you guys are sure to recognize 😜 More from John Malkovich Of Mice and Men (1992) drama Mary Riley (1996) horror drama Making Mr. Right (1987) rom com Places in the Heart (1984) drama Warm Bodies (2013) horror rom com
Two of Nicolas Cage's best films in my opinion would be: "Adaptation" (2002) a strangely meta dramatic comedy directed by Spike Jonze, and "Bringing out the Dead" (1999) a very chaotic intense drama directed by Martin Scorsese.
Oh Yea! Adaptation!!! His acting is amazing in that! (Everyone's acting is amazing! Meryl Streep - Chris Cooper et all!) An original script about writing an original script! So good!
Identity, please - John Cusack and Ray Liotta - it's excellent! The first I saw of John Malkovich was in Of Mice and Men, with Gary Sinise (aka Lt. Dan) - they both do a phenomenal job! And Peggy Sue Got Married is a movie that no one ever mentions - it stars a young Nick Cage .
"... they're calling it a wake-up call... they're currently talking to Denzel's people..." 😂😂😂 The awesome level of cheesey dialogue to match the visuals in this flick are such a treat! Thanks for this one. Cage: Guarding Tess and Moonstruck are a must. Cusack: Grosse Pointe Blank... PLEEASE ;) Colm Meaney: The Commitments, Layer Cake Malkovich: honestly, the man was a mini god in his day. You wouldn't even look up what it's about, you would just go see his movies. So the fact that he was in this flick, people at the time were like 'ok holy s***', lol, that is some serious casting right there. Burn After Reading, In the Line of Fire, Red, Being John Malkovich (also starring Cusack)...
You guys are great, I love watching your reactions. I look forward to what movie or show you're going to do next. So excited about baby Isla, congratulations! Nick Cage movies are good, but also you made the reference of not having any John Cusack movies on the channel and as a huge Cusack fan myself, you may want to watch a few of his movies also because he has some great ones. Ex... Hot Tub Time Machine, Runaway Jury, etc... You guys are great!
'Bringing out the dead' from 1999 is a great under-seen Nick Cage / Martin Scorsese film that I think you may appreciate. It's one of his more interesting roles and also has a great supporting cast.
Back in the 90s there was a very popular myth that you could upward strike someone's nose right into their brain and kill them, which is what Poe did. It's absolutely ridiculous. The nose cartilage would just crumble instead. But back then everyone was convinced it was real.
For another Nickolas Cage movie try Next and Being John Malkovich is exellent and a Clint Eastwood and John M movie look at In the Line of Fire and for a John M and Bruce Willis look at RED Awesome reaction guys as usual :)
Nicolas Cage movie i recommend Leaving Las Vegas (1995) Bringing Out The Dead (1999) Matchstick Men (2003) Adaptation (2002) Birdy (1984) Lord Of War (2005)
Faceoff wih Nic Cage and John Travolta is a must see. Congrats and blessings on your new arrival guys. Have you guys slated in time for 'A Time to Kill;? Unreal cast and an emotional trip. You feel all the feels.

Mykelti Williamson is the actor who played Bubba in Forrest Gump and was also a cop in Heat which you watched recently.

Famous line…..Put the bunny back in the box…..why couldn’t you put the bunny back in the box. 😅
The guy who fights Nicholas Cage's character (Cameron Poe) at the beginning is Waingro from Heat.
Ah yes some good wholesome reactor content from the most chilled couple doing this stuff...btw lads congrats on baby TBR 😅 now to the video 💪❤️
What are YOU gonna do ?
What do you think imma gonna do
..im gonna save the fkn day!!!!
Love that line
Awesome you guys need to watch Face/Off next since its another epic action flick with Nick Cage and John Travolta.
Never change your intro/background music.
Fun film with John Malkovich is In the Line of Fire. It also stars Cline Eastwood and Renee Russo.
If you guy's thought this was great than i cant wait for you to do Face/Off that's Cage's magnum opus
Empire of the Sun from 1987 is a WW2 drama that was directed by Steven Spielberg that stars Malkovich and a child actor you guys are sure to recognize 😜
More from John Malkovich
Of Mice and Men (1992) drama
Mary Riley (1996) horror drama
Making Mr. Right (1987) rom com
Places in the Heart (1984) drama
Warm Bodies (2013) horror rom com
I gotta recommend the John Cusack film "Gross Point Blank" (1997) I think you guys would love it
Watching immediately!!!! Too many glitches and copyright claims recently.
This is one of my favorite movies it is amazing
I am writing this to help out tbr Schmitt and Samantha and this video and this channel with the algorithm also congrats having your child 🥰❤️✌️☺️
"... they're calling it a wake-up call... they're currently talking to Denzel's people..." 😂😂😂 The awesome level of cheesey dialogue to match the visuals in this flick are such a treat! Thanks for this one.
Cage: Guarding Tess and Moonstruck are a must.
Cusack: Grosse Pointe Blank... PLEEASE ;)
Colm Meaney: The Commitments, Layer Cake
Malkovich: honestly, the man was a mini god in his day.
Hi Ma and Pa..bless you both..and your new child of course..
Terrific action movie! Nick's "Southern accent" was horrible (LOL)! Great reaction by you two!
Oh yeah, the memories! Heaps of 90s fun!
For another Nickolas Cage movie try Next and Being John Malkovich is exellent and a Clint Eastwood and John M movie look at In the Line of Fire and for a John M and Bruce Willis look at RED
Awesome reaction guys as usual :)
Love this movie!! Great action mixed with Comedy:)
Nicolas Cage movie i recommend
Leaving Las Vegas (1995)
Bringing Out The Dead (1999)
Matchstick Men (2003)
Adaptation (2002)
Birdy (1984)
Lord Of War (2005)
If you ever saw a Nicolas Cage movie and thought to yourself, "What's with all the thoughtful subtlety?" then Con Air is the movie for you.
Or Vampire's Kiss 🧛♂️
@@LordVolkov Excuse me, Vampire's Kiss is an educational film, that's how I learned the alphabet.
Faceoff wih Nic Cage and John Travolta is a must see. Congrats and blessings on your new arrival guys. Have you guys slated in time for 'A Time to Kill;? Unreal cast and an emotional trip. You feel all the feels.
Movie recommendation for you to react to: ANACONDA (1997), a really cool thriller, with tense moments and good practical effects, you'll like it.
w00t ? nope! 😄
