The video introduces a Digital Zettelkasten Template for Tana, which has had a significant impact on my life (Kent). It has changed the way they approach learning, knowledge management, writing, and creating videos.
The template has several tabs and sections, starting with the "Start Here" page, providing an overview and background information on note-taking journey and the creator.
The main focus is on the installation process, which involves importing the template, including super tags, tags, fields, and an AI feature, into the user's Tana workspace.
The template includes search nodes for terms, claims, and questions, which help organize and link
notes together, utilizing the backlinking feature to connect new notes to existing ones.
The video suggests committing to writing at least one note per day for 30 days and linking it to a previously written note to bring the zettelkasten to life, without overthinking or filling out all the fields. A sample zettelkasten is provided for demonstration purposes, with instructions on traversing and extending the notes. Additional support and help options are available through Twitter and TH-cam.

You said it changed your life a lot.
Are you referring to notemaking / zettelkasten practice in general, orvthe new ways that Tana enables?
(It is not clear to me how long you have been involved in this).

Hi @lassepedersen8668 Indeed. Inside the template I wrote a summary of my involvement over time. Good point though, I'll have grab some of that and put it in other places. I'll do that. Until then... CMD-C / CMD-V.. the very short answer is, a long time and the life change part is when I discovered Zettelkasten, Read How to Take Smart Notes and then read How to Read a Book (Which I did as part of Roam Book Club 5 #RBC5)
I've been taking notes digitally since July 20, 2008. Counting up everything I can find these days I have made at least 100,000 notes across 3-4 systems. My first note that July was in Evernote. It was a snapshot of a magazine article I tagged as research about the surging demand for network bandwidth.
It was not until I began to use RoamResearch in September of 2020 that things really changed for me. The power of the graph model with two way links was just mind blowing! As a began to connect my notes in new ways, like leveraging the Zettelkasten method, my notes seemed to come alive. They have became something I wanted to spend time with; and would sometimes even feel resentful when I could not give it enough time. Then, I relaxed a bit more and just went with the flow. Because, ultimately, that's what it's all about. The beautiful complexity that emerges in a well connected note taking system of models is like magic.
It has taken years of experimentation and countless hours of trial and error to come up with the system in this template for Zettelkasten. This Tana Digital Zettelkasten's ancestor was created in RoamResearch. It was (and still is being) painstakingly migrated to Tana (there's not a great shortcut sadly). But, in doing so, it gave me a chance to really rethink it from the ground up and to do something I had been wanting to do for a long time; integrate the Discourse research model from Joel Chan
Learning Zettelkasten and creating a digital version has been life changing. It has improved the quality and depth of my thinking tremendously. I owe a thank you to Bo Hahn for a lot of the inspiration for my original ZK in Roam Research. That took me very far. And, to Niklas Luhmann for perfecting the Zettelkasten system so beautifully.
This Digital Zettelkasten template is one of five well documented mental models that I use to organize my information consumption and production effectively. If the demand is there, perhaps we can grow this template over time to include more models. Right now, most of them still live in Roam Research.
Two friends told me I had to check out Tana (Thanks Bill and IV) so, thanks to an invite from Bill I got early access. Once I figured out how supertags worked I began to realize that Tana just might provide a profound upgrade on my already fantastic Roam Research Zettelkasten experience. So, I began to explore.
The ultimate result is the Zettelkasten in Tana that I use daily.

Hi @seunade6634 I decided to try something entirely different for this template - so, I relaunched my website and created a member area. In that area, you can access the download link to the template and I will start to offer support and content there exclusively for members.

@@kent.langley If you have a node "Abraham Lincoln" which supertagged as person, when you want to writing something and mention him as "Lincoln", its basically hard to link the orginal node. How would you solve the problem?
