  • I've looked so much on the net on how to replace a VAG 2.0 FSI Non-turbo Intake Manifold and I realised that there was not even a single video on how to do it. So I decided to make this in-depth video on how to remove an intake manifold for whatever reason you may have.
    So I hope this video makes it easier for you to get cracking with the job, the video is a bit long but that is because I wanted to make it more clearer for you to not have doubts on whether to do it or not. I hope you like this video and subscribe to the channel, thank you.

      I subscribed to your Channel. Now I going to clean the intake manifold, change cam follower, EGR Valve and everything on my 2.0 FSI VW Eos, following your instructions. Thank you for these useful videos.

    Can you tell me if I need to remove this for the pcv valve. Could you please tell me where the pcv is located

    • @OverideZA

      The pcv valve is integrated with the manifold. The pipe on the left which was leaking connects to the manifold

    Very nice videos, my dad and I have been driving cars with this engine for many years now. Though lately since i replaced the headgasket on my own A3. I get a P2279 error code (intake leak). I checked all the obvious things. All solenoids, variable intake roller, cold start flap actuation, any intake leak location. PCV seems ok. But cant seem to find it. I only seem to get the P2279 code when the car is cold and at low RPM (around idle speed) its very intermittently. I sprayed brake clean all over the engine compartment hoping the PRM would jump from the brakeclean getting sucked into the engine where it shouldnt, but no luck. Car drives and idles fine. Have you ever seen/heard about an issue like this?

    • @OverideZA

      No I've never had an issue like this. You asked where the pcv is, the pcv is integrated to the cylinder head cover (the black thing which is on top of the engine). Also, try to check the rubbers which connects the intake manifold into the cylinder head, also check the pcv hoses, the one coming from the cylinder head cover and connecting to the intake manifold, they're 2 so because they are located in areas where they experience a lot of heat they break.

      Omg I have been searching for someone with the same problem. Please help me too I have the EXACT same problem

    • @mjj69

      How do you open to check the pcv

    • @J4rn0

      I solved it eventually. The left pcv hose had a hole in it on the backside. You have to take off the intake manifold to take it off.

    • @OverideZA

      @J4rn0 yes there's the other long one which is deep just after the manifold, and there's no removing it without removing the manifold.

    Hello, I have an FSI engine, fuel consumption is very high, about 15-16 liters, automatic
    there is no error in the ecu.
    what is your fuel consumption?
    Thanks

    • @OverideZA

      What I know from my knowledge is that what causes high fuel consumption is an oxygen sensor, the coils, spark plugs and a dirty air filter. Check those.

    How do you fix the dip stick tube?

    • @OverideZA

      Is yours broken or you are asking how to align it under the manifold?

      Mine are broken,
      Also trying to find any video of working on this specific motor (2.0 fai non turbo) and almost couldn’t find anything
      I want to replace injectors and timing chain
      Also fix my broken dip stick tube
      Can you give me any source?
      And also what the oem number of the dip stick tube part?

    • @OverideZA

      @@razieltac5365 mine also broke too so I just bought new ones, when you go to the parts store just give them your engine number they will give you the right parts.
      I've made a video on how to replace the timing chain, you can find it on my channel.

      @@OverideZA your a pro!!
      Yes, I just saw actually that you did a lot of stuff on this motor
      Can you help me with the injector?
      Probably I need to remove the intake manifold
      How I treat the fsi injectors?
      How to pull them out, (I did once A restore and cleaning injectors and valve’s for another car I have - pt cruiser 2007)
      But I’m afraid about the injector of the fsi
      I think it’s difficult to pull them

    • @OverideZA

      @@razieltac5365 well, replacing injectors is very simple you only need a special tool "T10133". You'll need to remove the fuel rail, remove the retaining lugs while turning the injector clockwise, the install the special tool and pull them out
