I tried the second method in August and my honest review is the second method is not gooey as compared to the first method but please if you’re a first timer I suggest you go with the second method because it’s very easy as compared to the first. And to Sweet Adjeley I’m soo grateful of the content you’ve been giving us. Although I haven’t had any training but you’ve been enriching my cooking skills. I’m so grateful and I’m highly honored to be part of your platform. THANK YOU
Thank u so much. It was my first time trying to make konkonte, but it turned out really well, I used the second method very simple, no single lumps, My husband really enjoyed it❤. Much 👏 💐
I tried the first method before I watched this video. It was a disaster . I threw the whole pot away. But when I tried the second just now, it was super .Thanks so much Sweet Adjeley.
I tried the first method yesterday because i was confused with the second one and my goodness 😅 😳 😐 I nearly threw my konkonte away 🙃...lumps be what ? But i enjoyed it anyway...😆 and had to come here for tutorials. 2nd method is my thing and 1st is for the experience.
Kɛ onami ni okyɛmi Sweet erh, ma ha bo ✌️. Never taken konkonte all my life, and when I want to, I don't trust the source. Trying it out now as I trust you. Sweetitintiiinnnnnzzzzzz!!!!!😘
I discovered it actually same flour, it just the cooking method that's different, i buy cassava flour here, and what they write at the package is kokontr/lafu, iam here because I want to know what's kokonte
Cooking indeed is an ART. In my house, we use a 3rd method: we first mix a small amount with cold water and allow it to boil like porridge, fetch off some of the porridge to be added later. The powder is then added bit by bit till it becomes as thick as desired. I will surely try your methods too. I love konkonte
Thanks so much for the second method the first always difficult for me..Glad have learnt a new method on how to prepare one of my favorite meals...Sweet Adjeley you do all✌️✌️
I always go by de 2nd method though it takes time. I dont get lumps in it at all. But de 1st deɛ i ve to hire a lawyer Who Will be pouring de konkonte whilst i stir🤭. It goes well with nkruma nkwan papa😋
Both methods are good but I would choose the second one. I know kokonte is ill charactered so I don't prepare it. I can count my fingers the number of times I ate it. That was when I was little. My mom made it. Growing up I have gathered that if you don't take your time preparing it, it will be lumpy. I hate eating lumpy foods that are not naturally lumpy. But I will try the second method. Anyway, I like your pots. Tnx. I know I talk too much but bear with me Sweetie.❤
How do we store konkonte for tomorrow?? Lets say I can't eat everything today and I want to keep or store some to eat the next day.....Is there a way to store konkonte without the konkonte getting spoilt??
Just put it in your fridge not freezer, when you ready to use just boil water and put it in whiles its boiling. You can put it off after some few minutes.
Hello everyone. Please I need help. I bought beef in the afternoon but I didn't put it in the freezer as soon as I got back from the market. Now it has a smell and anytime I open my freezer, the entire kitchen starts stinking. Please what do I do the reduce the stench? Kindly help me out.
Wash it and keep them in an air tight container . I keep my beef, koobi and momone in such containers and throws them in the freezer so you can try that. Hope it helps
I did the second method today. It was my first time of making kokonte because I'd always been scared of the lumps..lol I had zero lumps and it came out really well.. thanks so much for sharing

Yoruba ( Nigeria) have a cassava meal too called Lafu but we make it off fire like Eba. The one we cook and stir on fire is Amala( Yam flour)
Ohk but this is cassava flour
I discovered it actually same flour, it just the cooking method that's different, i buy cassava flour here, and what they write at the package is kokontr/lafu, iam here because I want to know what's kokonte

Isn’t that cooking tz or diehuo
@@adwoafrimpomaa6053 , with TZ, it’s 2 different flour. With the kokonte, it’s only the kokonte flour

@@vermaofori6511 Oh really?

"Face the wall" prepared at it's best. Sweet Please I'm here with my okra soup

Just put it in your fridge not freezer, when you ready to use just boil water and put it in whiles its boiling. You can put it off after some few minutes.
I wonder if this is same as what our Nigerian brothers and sisters call Amala, their's look a little darker though
Yes I think it’s the same concept but they use yam🥰
#Sweet is the peanut butter soup mine.. See chicken thigh and wings 😋😋... Face the wall is a must chop ✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽
So always if I put it in a wrap it sticks when opening. How do I prevent this?
Sprinkle water on the wrap
My mum wipes the wrap with oil
