They just bring unconditional love into your life. I had to have my old gentleman put to sleep at age 16 5 months ago. I think about him every day and miss him so much..
Love watching Jack get excited to get at it. Such a good boy. Seems like an old friend. You can tell those old joints aren't what they used to be but he's still game. What a great dog. Edit: just watched the ending. Almost got upset there. If that dog ain't perfect I don't know what the hell on this earth is.
Jack has the heart of a hunter. Even if he's older and slower he rather be out there in the field than at home. You can see the intensity burning in his eyes as he watches the birds fly in. You have trained him well, and you both make a good team.
Jack seems to have a hitch in his get-along, but it would be cruel to leave him at home. My own dogs would rather die than not hunt. He seems to be a true hunter.

It wouldn't hurt to spell the magic remedy correctly. It's "Chondroitin." It's been keeping my arthritis in check for at least 20 years. I haven't heard of it for dogs but I don't think it could hurt to try it.
