So my spark plugs have been changed for two months now, brand new Audi OEM plugs. I replaced them, cleaned each coil individually. They have been working flawlessly. This past weekend my car sat in the snow without being turned on for three days. I turned it on and it rattled for a few, then check engine light turned on. I am sure it may have something to do with not being started for three days? the car operates normally now, idles normally at stop signs and red lights or even in parking lots. but I did get that error code. I will hook up my VCDS to it as well to see if there is an extensive issue or perhaps just a one time misfire and it will clear itself out. This has happened twice before and both times I showed it to my mechanic they couldn't find anything wrong.

Sounds like the oil didn't reach the top of the engine quick enough. Rattle

Hey so my car has p0300, I’ve replaced wires, coils packs, and spark plugs and I’m still getting misfires. The car has a rough idle and as soon as I try to get it up past 2000 rpms engine light flashes. One friend said it’s not getting gas but another says it could be my lower intake gasket. I don’t know what to do. It’s a 2005 impala. Please someone help me

Nice vid BUT I would also add that if it's oily, then either the spark plug is loose or (more commonly) the valve cover rings are leaking; commonly an issue around 160k-ish miles.

Hello steve. I have an 02 bonneville and whenever my car is up to heat. It can start to missfire when I idle or run at a low rpm. If i turn the car off for about an hour and start it up again it runs okay until I idle to long. The only code thats pulling up is P0300 and a P0171. Any help would be appreciated.

i had this experience with my car ..code p0300 and p0304...meaning that cylinder #4 misfire randomly, i solve this problem by swapping coil#4 with # 1..and if problem remain, then check spark#4 and injector......your situation is #1 cylinder is misfire ...so make sure spark plug, coil, and injector at port # 1 is good...swap around see if problem relocated.

Both of these methods have been done but it still misfires and is constantly jittering with a rough idle. Battery has been changed recently and I’m around 67000 kilometres. Please help I am desperate 😭

Hello, we suggest checking the spark plug and try cleaning the ignition coil to see if the issue will still persists.
lmaooo yall pls do yourself a favor and dont buy cheap parts, i did for a first time diy " thinking its all same shit" usually is but not with car parts... buy the good authentic brands as i ran into this issue after changing coils sparks and fuel injectors LOOL
i have the P0300 code on my 2001 Golf gti vr6 , new coil pack , spark plug wires and spark plugs , only has 85,000 miles on the engine .

@@nondainc i haven’t yet , i did however install the wrong NGK spark plugs in the car about a year ago , I have the NGKR dual prone spark plugs now , i have yet to start it due to my alternator going bad .
I have a 2013 equinox 2.4l engine. The oñly come I have is p0300 code
@@gracebrison6515 change out your spark plugs , use the correct spark plugs , my car had a ghost code misfire along with the P0300 code .
