They already filmed part 2 so it’s really done for them now. Like a senior on their last HS show night. I think their friendship is genuine. I’ve been keeping up with Cynthia for a few years and that’s kind of just her personality. Always super nice to people, going above and beyond on compliments, getting emotional, etc. That’s just who she is. From an outsiders perspective I think Ariana just changes her personality for whatever season of life she’s in and what’s going on around her. I think wicked has been a very emotional project for her- especially with all her relationship drama and I think Cynthia just chose to help her walk through it. The other day I saw an edit from an Ariana grande fan account and it said “thank you wicked for healing Ariana” which obviously that’s coming from the perspective of a super fan who’s going to be on her side no matter what- but I think there’s some truth to that. But of course i also know that it’s a huge movie about female friendship and that there’s no way the people making this movie would even IMAGINE a world in which their Glinda and Elphaba aren’t best friends. They 100% looked at things such as chemistry when casting them and had the cast do bonding activities for this movie because that’s just what these roles require.
I didn’t want to see the movie at first because of Ariana Grande being a homewrecker but the other drama and the fact that it’s Wicked is really tempting me. I might just sneak into the theater at some point a few days after the release so the real theatre kids can get their chance on opening night

The Wicked campaign has been too much for sure, can't wait for it to be over. Also, don't get me wrong, but i think all the crying happens when there's nothing to balance out the estrogen, and there is zero testosterone in the vicinity of this movie or press tour. Also also, the skeletal bodies and the amount of couple tattoos (when you're not a couple) is genuinely concerning.

Now, I didn’t think that was the intent, but to be fair, Hollywood has a history of excluding certain people. We all know that. I believe the change was done to honor the original artwork, but obviously Cynthia saw it differently. Why is this still a topic of conversation? Hey this is probs random however I really enjoy your commentary often i find other commentary videos and stuff but it all really seems scripted no offense to other's but I just dont see much emotion in theirs and it just results in me not having any interest however yours dont seem scripted and have much more emotion and its easy for me to get intrigued and all that jazz feels like we're at a coffee shop or record store just chatting quite nice to have on in the background while sketching or practicing bass or writing lyrics anyways have a nice day and sorry for my bad grammer

pu$$y lol, and Cynthia's rant kind of came off to me as a black woman who has been mistreated for being black so much maybe she sees it when it isn't there, because of the words she used and because Elphaba was originally played by Idina Menzel who is certainly ethnically interesting but not black. I could also be seeing something that isn't there but if that is the case that is really sad and makes me feel empathetic towards her. Not saying its okay to be reactionary just that I would understand it. And I would say they probably are real friends at this point simply by being so close for years working on the movie, know enough about a person you might start to like them because you kinda get them. yeah, I’d imagine it’s probably people who are fans of Ariana or maybe just had a fleeting interest in the movie - definitely not a large enough group of people to bring down Wicked’s release in cinemas! so excited for it to come out ⏱️⏱️⏱️ hehehe
What gets me the most about this whole situation is that apparently everyone is looking for the worst in everybody else. Ariana and Cynthia interviews? "They're fake", "They definitely hate each other", "It's sooo forced it hurts". Ariana's relationship? "She's the worst woman who ever lived on earth", "How can she have a career with all of this", "She doesn't care about anyone" and even the fan edit of the poster being called the most offensive thing Cynthia's ever seen... Idk it's as if the shards of the mirror from the Snow Queen fairytale spread across the world when it comes to this film and everything surrounding it.
