3 Hour Xtreme Challenge - Stint 3 - 2023 Winter Endurance Karting - Touring Kart Championship

The track is a lot drier (dryer?) now. Only 6 of my top 50 laps came from other stints. I weighed in 235 without gear, so considerably more than most other drivers. My best lap was 21.022 (starting at 18:53).
The best lap of the day was 20.371 by team "Race For Thomas", followed by 20.559 by team "DreamChasers". I would have liked to have hit 20s, but I don't feel too bad about it. Today was a lot of fun.
We got screwed at the end of the race when the officials waited until the last 40 minutes to tell us they're not counting our first 2 stops, after telling us originally that they would count it. We factored that into our strategy and it threw off the whole end of the race. We had to scramble for stops while the pit was a mess.
I start off with a mostly clear track for a while, until I get into a little battle that lasts forever with who I'll call the Speedy Bumblebee (who also made a cameo in the "he lost a wheel" debacle of Stint 2).
He passes me at 6:20, and I manage to take it back a few seconds later.
He stings me again at 8:28 and I fall behind but catch back up around 12:08. I had a chance again around 15:01 when he's forced wide, but I also hit a slippery patch toward the edge of the track on the other side and slide.
At 16:40 he flies off to the pits and I lose my chance at redemption.
I battle it out with ‪@jontherocket‬ a bit from around 17:45, and he gives me a nice wave by at 18:30 🍻
I start my best lap of the day at 18:53, and as I close out that lap I miss Dom flagging me back. At the time I remember thinking someone was blue flagging the guy in front of me 😅 and then again on the following lap.
On the last lap, had I not gone wide, I probably would have missed him again. In my defense, I was looking for flagging at the spectator area, but the pits were probably a better place for flagging.
We close it out here with some great camaraderie at 20:42 by ‪@Buzzraces‬ and ‪@RaidenRacingCo‬ (PS, using multiple object trackers at the same time in DaVinci Resolve was painful at first).
