Another cracking watch, variety a plenty. Would love to spend the day at Carlisle however freight downturn deters me for now, and the same for dad, so good too watch your videos Mike, ATB David
David I think my days of doing late night and early morning at the great looking station are no more due to as you say lack of freight traffic. I did some great all-nighter there in the 80s. Mike.
Super video of the traffic at Carlisle Mike. Always quite a busy period in that early morning period. Nice to bump into you on the Newcastle train on Thursday Mike. Hope you enjoyed your short time in Hexham. Best regards - Allan.
Just been watching your video of that TPE test run Allan, and that was so good meeting you again on that class 142 to Hexham. I think if I'd been down that line before It would have been on a railtour in the dark, wish I could remember Allan. Regards Mike.
Awesome little film Mike. Those Trans Pennine sets really do look good, would have thought they would have gone with the class 88 version. Excellent stuff, well done 😁😁🏍
Anthony they do like the business but will they ever get them in service, It would be possible to use them I suppose but they would need more that ten. Regards Mike.
A nice variety of traction Mike and very enjoyable viewing. A pleasure to meet you on the Newcastle train yesterday with my brother Allan. I hope you enjoyed your visit to Hexham. Regards, Jeff.
Hello Jeff, yes great to meet you properly yesterday and yes Hexham is a very nice place what I saw of it.Jeff I will do a video of my day sometime next week. Regards Mike.
hi mike i was in stranraer to ayr by by rail in 86/87 woman said Carlisle was over border that i remember gt day's freedom n lovely ol style trains talk again Brian
Great footage. Like the footage of the 68 & Mk5 stock as so far I've only seen them at speed. I believe went it ran 14th-16th instead of arriving into "Bertie Road" they put into plat6. I take it the clown at the end has an attitude problem?
Ok Philip I just wanted to know who he was so I could as him how his day went on the last class 37 on the Cumbrian coast. He was a very person Philip, and thanks for watching my video. Regards Mike.
Trevor I had a good chat with that guy, I think he thought the cam was off as I had one in my hand. I put that on the end and was hoping someone knew him so I could ask him how his day was on the 37 tour. Cheers Mike.
@@antman09ful1 I still don't understand! You mean Margam in South Wales where the steel works is? If it's come LE all the way from there how is that 20miles?
He was a good guy, I just wanted to message he to say Hi, and that other guy I did speak to him and he couldn't apologise enough, Thank you for your interest in this video.

Decent dawn spell there Mike, especially getting 68032 & TPE stock on training run - I was hoping for one today but it was cancelled.
Cheers Darren, I had a OK time up in Carlisle on this trip, and getting that TPE test run was a nice bonus.
3:127 nice catch of two different owners' class 66s coupled together!
They does happen on that working some days.

Very good, you couldn't have had much sleep though mate. Worth the effort though and I liked seeing the 68 and the new TPE stock.
I think I had about four and a bit hour Matthew.
That’s cool. Risking your sleep just for our trains seeing. I’m new around your channel and I SUBSCRIBE
Thank you very much mate for the sub, I hope you find something of interest on my channel where I upload videos two or three times a week.

Ok Philip I just wanted to know who he was so I could as him how his day went on the last class 37 on the Cumbrian coast. He was a very person Philip, and thanks for watching my video. Regards Mike.
Why a pair of 90s?
Because that load need two locos to get over the steep gradients, thanks for watching Chris.
I know you your guy, how do I reach you ?
Hi Did we meet on Carlisle Station at about 06.40 on the 11/01/19 ?

You will never see me filming them virgin things.
Great video Mike but a pity about the plonker at the end......Trevor.''

that loco came light engine all the way from Margam to Carlisle!!!WTF was that all about?
I did say it came LE from Margam Sam, I believe it was just the last twenty miles. Thanks for watching my video.
@@antman09ful1 I still don't understand! You mean Margam in South Wales where the steel works is? If it's come LE all the way from there how is that 20miles?
Those idiotic "may we have your attention please" robotic nanny announcements never stop do they.
They bloody get on my nerves, we do live in a nanny state now.
If you dont like him in shot on a public platform, why not politely ask him to move out of shot? What 'did you say' to the guy in the other video?
He was a good guy, I just wanted to message he to say Hi, and that other guy I did speak to him and he couldn't apologise enough, Thank you for your interest in this video.
