    The casting for Moriarty could not be more PERFECT.

      It is. It Definitely gives the character more of the intimidation of Moriarty that I believe with this actor but all I said was that I think he could have been hotter. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I feel like no one can beat Andrew Scott as far as like charming moriarties for me. But as far as intimidation and Like fear factor I feel like he's definitely got that down.

    This Moriarty is much closer to the source material. He was in fact a professor in mathematics and a consultant criminal like Holmes was a consultant detective. And he comes off more of a gentleman than a raging psychopath. All in all it was a great performance by Jared Harris. By the way there is a 3rd film to be made, but scheduling has made it difficult because of Robert’s involvement with Marvel’s Iron Man character at the time. Guy Ritchie won’t direct the 3rd film unfortunately as someone else has taken over the project. The contract has already been signed. We’re waiting for Warner Brothers to give the green light for production. Awesome movie! Thank you for watching and enjoying 🎥🎬🍿

      I’m a fan of the Sherlock series from BBC too. That was my introduction to Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman who are also part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I think it’s a trip for Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict to interact with each other knowing that they’ve both played this iconic character in their special way. I think they fit the roles of Iron Man and Doctor Strange perfectly! I’m looking for to seeing more Doctor Strange in the future. Robert did a fantastic and amazing job playing the role of Tony Stark the Iron Man.

    This is a good Sherlock Holmes movie so far. It shows how tense is the game between Sherlock and Moriarty. Also, there's Mycroft. But just like in book Sherlock and Moriarty fall while fighting. It was later Arthur Conan Doyle brought Sherlock back.
    Just asking if you have seen The Great Mouse Detective? It's like Sherlock Holmes but of mouse world

    RDJ shelock has the primary advantage Compared to BBC Sherlock, that is the era.
    Sherlock Holmes in Victorian era >>> Some british detective dude reading emails.

      True the RDJ version tends to in my opinion stick to the more traditional version of Sherlock Holmes we're all in tune with. The accent, the pipe, the way they talk to each other. Whereas the BBC version just takes that makes Sherlock more like Sheldon from big bang theory but with a more modern twist. Just my thoughts. Thanks for sharing and watching BTW! 😄

    Actual prototype for the villain is a historical person, Basil Zaharoff "Merchant of Death".

    Sherlock is such a great character. Love the last battle in this film. Maybe "The Great Mouse Detective" could be worth a watch for a Sherlock fan. :D

    I do love this duology and hope we get a third one.
    Have you seen Elementary? And if not, would you consider reacting to it? I avoided it for so long because I was sure it was gonna suck, but I started watching it last year and it quickly became my favourite Sherlock Holmes adaptation. Or at least my favourite Holmes and Watson dynamic.

    you need to understand that the Guy Ritchie characters and time period is exactly as the original novels, the Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock has taken a lot of liberty and very much away from the original novels and it has a modern take on it. A true sherlock fan who has read the original novels will always love the original series (the adventures of Sherlock Holmes) from the 80s and the Guy Ritchie movies as compared to the Benedict cumberbatch movies. Also there is a 3rd one coming out but its directed by Dexter Fletcher.

    No way is Downey junior Sherlock Holmes. His casting ruins it for me, were the British actors all busy.

    • @SherlockFan1
      @SherlockFan1  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Probably I mean the BBC Sherlock has like a 90% British cast and they needed to take a 2-3 year break every season and could only do like a 3 episode run each season. Lol 😆
