That's one of Paddy Fahey's tunes ❤
He was renowned for composing wonderful tunes and not naming them.
This is the same sense of wonder and excitement I’m experiencing while going from classical to Irish fiddle!
Cool! You should try the fiddle bow hold, because as you said you need to minimize motion with the bow.
Baroque and Irish are deeply connected after baroque the Clsssical era went it way apart, baroque ornamentation fell into Irish technique. Interrsting
I understood what he meant by 'Playing The Violin is not the goal' - when I stopped trying to 'Play' the instrument the music would happen well also listening for the resonance in the instrument over the played note is everything
This transcription is based on Martin Hayes’ playing on The Lonesome Touch.
He’s been playing Irish tunes for 20 years!
ges menakjubkan! ❤
Paddy Fahey's reel

They're pretty good rolls for someone who's not done them before
Never heard of G.A.?
What song is this?
❤😂🇮🇹
Irish fiddling does not mean what you think it means
i see
Yes, it's rarely played as written. It's just too expensive/hard to annotate it properly. What people try to do is learn the rolls and cuts and based on rules learn when to use those ornaments. And of course, the bowing. The bowing, the bowing, the bowing. This man figured out a roll, but has a ways to go to get bowing right. It's not easy.
@@robertkielty5094 if you ask most Irish people, they’ll think your talking about fingering or some shit
