Wonderful video! That paved trail system past Arch Rock heading north is my absolute favorite - I also love the Mountain Bike trail which doesn't seem to get much attention, and sadly is becoming harder the ride due to erosion.
It took about 3 hours. But it would take longer if you stopped to look at the attractions. Typically, I allow a full day for the interior if I am seeing the sights.
You can swim in certain areas, but people rarely do. The currents are strong and the shore/shallows are rocky. If you want to swim, you're better off staying in Mackinaw City or Saint Ignace.

I’m headed to Mackinac next week , I planned a bike tour around the outside , I figured the interior would be boring until I seen this video

The Carriage Tours are a unique experience in their own way. But I prefer to ride my bike!

Honestly there is no great beaches like on the Michigan side of Lake Michigan.
Why speed up the video? It’s dizzying! Slow it down to real time all the way through. The video is pretty.
