    Great video as usual!
    I'd actually really like to see a full gear review if you can manage. There is always a tendency to pack the wrong stuff or take too much, so a glimpse at what you take and for which outings would be helpful 👍🏻

    Loch Ard, one of my favourite spots, so enclosed but yet vastly open space. I don't know why but the smell of burning wood always brings my fond thoughts back to that area. Would love a full gear review along with pricing and specs. Thanks again my friend for awakening many happy memories. Until the next time, take care and peace out.

    It would be a great idea if you could do a video of your gear you use for most of your hikes.
    And if possible also about Maps, your navigation in and around your adventures.

      It's a 10k fine for camping at most of Loch ard for half of the year. If the wrong person sees this he is in alot of trouble.

  • @paulharvey9149

    You're just so good at finding incredible camping spots, though private beaches do tend to come with complimentary midges... I tend to feel a wee bit intimidated by forests, although I do enjoy having them in my view, so thanks for sharing it. If I'm not mistaken, that looks like the old Loch Ard YH in the background at 13:20 - others may remember better than me. Yes, I'd be interested to know what gear you use, for as you say, it's a fairly individual thing - and a good one to pre-record when you have the time, and keep up your sleeve in case you ever can't get out for some reason. Enjoy the rest of your weekend now!

    Nice video 👍 We've recently been foraging and quite enjoy the wild garlic, dandelions etc. for cooking and tea/s. My wee question: Do you ever think about doing this? Our next stage are mushrooms, which have to be identified correctly 💀Natures larder 😁

      Well that’s theft

    • @honestg
      @honestg 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Carsonktm420 100% correct . Uprooting wild garlic is illegal. Nipping the 'above ground' isn't. Always respect the Countryside, which we do. 'Atomic Shrimp' has some excellent videos on the subject.

    • @Carsonktm420
      @Carsonktm420 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@honestg tell that to any landowner, no different than nipping anything to cutting down trees . The right to roam means you have the right to travel on a through path, nothing else.

    • @honestg
      @honestg 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Carsonktm420 Where we stay, there's great courses for foraging and encouragement from the 'Landowners'. No cutting down Landowners trees, which without being pedantic, is a world away from nipping and encouraging and nurturing the growth of wild garlic to cutting down forests!. Nothing to do with the 'right to roam' but more to do with respecting the Countryside and nature.
