Wow just watched this again. Awesome production. I'm running out of time to complete tough adventures like this so I have decided to do it tomorrow (nice forecast). Probably just Carn Liath. So up early and having watched this again I will be digging out my elbow & knee pads. Time to change the pads on the Ebike. Cheers. Stoozer. 🤠

@@streetpigeonmtb Cheers Jamie. Love your respect too for old timers like me. You always reply which is actually rare for popular mtb channels like yours. I have been a mountain biker for over 35 years. I was there right at the beginning in Yorkshire when I purchased my very first Muddy Fox mountain bike in the 1980's. And then I progressed to a Raleigh mtb and then a Saracen. ALL rigid with NO SUSPENSION. JUST pure steel underneath our pedals pounding downhill. We were mad, just like you.
But it was early days in the mtb calendar and we practically all suffered bad injuries. So much so I ended up in hospital after trying a ridiculous jump. My fault. Stretched myself too far...
So now, at 62 years of age, I am still in there and LOVING your videos pal. Especially your really infectious commentaries which are often hilarious.
I lived in the Scottish Borders ,( Hawick) for over 10 years and did all the mental stuff at the black 7 stanes Glentress.
ALSO loved your Gypsy Glen video which is such a magical trail...Done it many times.
      Just promise me this though.
I thought I was invincible but I was proved wrong.
If you have a family just take care.
Your videos are getting faster and faster and remind me of my silly old days when me and my pals used to bomb down hills without a care in the world. BUT three of us ended up with very bad injuries. Out of the 3 of us it is just me left. Please take care.
      Stoozer.

Hey mate. I really appreciate the sentiment. Also cool that we obviously have a link in the places we stay and ride.
To reassure you I am very aware of the risks. I often joke on the channel that I am a coward and will not do anything if I'm not 100% feeling it. TBH though this is the way I have to ride and want to ride. I have two kids, I work in a school and I'm not getting any younger. I can't afford to have a big off and I don't want to.
In other words I'm very with your philosophy. I'm hoping I can continue to get faster but only by focusing on improving technique, not by just upping the risk!
Cheers are always for the comments and the connection. It's one of my favourite parts of this crazy TH-cam thing!
