It's a great trail loop, i mainly do the off piste stuff, but its really nice to ride things like this every so often. Its a spank freehub, i got the bike 2nd hand and it was already on, its incredibly loud, i love it haha
It's a great trailcenter trail! I think glentress and inners must be some of the best trailcentre type trails in the uk. Ive done some of the other 7 stanes and they aren't anywhere near as good (the downhills are too pedally!!). I think the minch moor section is closed sometimes during the week for yet more deforestry, so mabye weekend is best for a trip!
Nice one. Love the Bike too. I fear that 6months of ebiking I will struggle with that on my poor negelected Nukeproof Scout 🤣🤣 (an excuse to improve my fitness I ear your cry!)
haha yes, that will be a shock when you get back on it!! And no rear suspension will make it very uncomfortable!! I find though, my full suspension feels incredible after riding the hardtail for a bit, and i actually make lines i haven't ridden before because of how much more confidence i have in it
I didn't just ride the red loop that day, I went round to Golfie afterwards, so it wouldn't be much use to you. I'd have to create another profile, as i've lots of private rides on my trailforks accont too! But this loop is part of the official trail centre, so is very well signed, even with the storm closed trails its not haard to follow. www.trailforks.com/route/innerleithen-red-xc/?activitytype=1&z=12.8&lat=55.60804&lon=-3.02861&content=trails,labels,nst,poi,directory,polygon,waypoint,routes_featured try that, it looks like the official route, but includes some of the now closed sections
Thanks for your reply. I have actually done this trail. I'm more interested in those that are not well marked. I live in Galashiels but I'm not from here. Hence, I'm still learning what the possibilities are... cheers!
ahh, I try to add names of all the trails in the videos anyway, so you can find them on trailforks easily enough. I think pretty much every trail I know in the valley is now on trailforks anyway
Ah nice one you brought me back. 9 years ago I did that trail, makes me want to load the bike and head to Scotland. Great free hub sounds too!

Hey Alex, it would be nice if you could share the gps files of your rides too
Cheers!
