Many people really don't know how to explain the powerband is and/or feel and you just did perfectly. It's not smooth, it's consistency and control at different stages of powerband that HITLIS OFFERS better than stock for woods riding.
@@SingletrackStafford I pretty much did all I could do to it, my goal is to get it on par or better than my 2019 KTM 250XC. Right now the vibes and violence of the engine are the last things I'm sussing out. Dig the video a lot though
I don't miss the hydraulic clutch. I had a Beta 300 Race Edition before this and the cable is just as good. I haven't really seen the need for the hydraulic clutch anywhere. With the Hitlis this is the best bike I've owned.
@@SingletrackStafford my clutch friction zone felt so small on the yz and like a light switch either off or on…noticed on the beta immediately that it was more forgiving. Maybe I had a mechanical problem with the Yamaha
@@AdamCoffey828 hmm I that sucks. I love the feel and feedback of the cable. I have a video on my channel for a clutch lever mod. It's $0 and opens the friction zone a bunch. That's probably why I don't have a problem.
@@AdamCoffey828 I did some research and in 2021 yamaha changed the clutch lever and went to a 29mm clutch ratio. Making the clutch pull harder and a smaller friction zone. My 2016 came with a 27mm lever and I modified it down to 25.5mm. That lightens the clutch pull considerably and makes the friction zone bigger. If you had that generation this would explain your troubles. Just a drill bit and you could have had a sweet clutch.
@@SingletrackStaffordthat’s interesting to hear, I had a 2020 tho. I just did the 9mm brembo master and rotated my clutch spring to the lightest setting. I measured it at 5 pound pull with a trigger pull gauge. It’s even better now

@@elcincero321 thanks boss
Great video! Your videos helped me with my decision to install the system on my YZ250. Thank you for the effort you put into your videos.
I'm glad you liked them. The Hitlis rocks. Thanks for watching!
Excellent videos, some of the best content out there👍
Planning on trying one of these to finish my YZ250 mods, as far as the flywheel I have a panthera that I've rocked for ages.
The YZ doesn't need much with the Hitlis

Guys are discovering those same qualities are a huge advantage in motocross too. They're just getting to the party late lol
@@ProductivePowerLLC this would be a huge benefit out of turns in motocross
I was chasing the same performance like you. I almost installed the Hitlis but decided to sell it for a new Beta 300 rr. Real hydraulic clutch is nice

Great video, I think this kit with a 300 cylinder kit would be the cats ass
Possibly, although I have know some guys that weren't impressed with the 300 kit. Liked the standard 250 better. The 250 lugs really well as is

Brother, do you have a video talk about your jettings?
