As far as performance, did you get Twisted Development’s vortex ecu with mapping or stock ecu re-mapped for the 450 air box and FMF exhaust? Also, have you thought about the twin injector add on? That bike rips! Thanks!
@@stumpinateryes, Twisted Development ECU and air box mod. I had a dual injector setup(not TD dual injector set up, although I did buy that setup and the bike kept cutting off if I came to an abrupt stop) on my 21 and loved it. FMF exhaust, twin air power flow kit.

One of this guys bikes was parked at my neighbors house ( yz450, think was a 2020) , one of his buddy’s had bought it, and it was fully tricked out. I rode it around the track for literally as long as I could it had the most plush suspension ever. Amazing clutch. Bike was so good it was insane to me coming from a stock 2020 kx250. Good times lol.
I'm an old guy (58) on an old (2000) YZ250, 2-stroke with an Enzo-tuned suspension and FMF silencer (everything else is stock) and I'd love to see someone like Albert ride it just to see what it's capable of. I absolutely can't ride it to its potential. Do any young pro riders ever get on these old steel frame smoker bikes and see how much it changes their abilities? All I know is my bike apparently only has one goal in life...to end mine. lol
What bar bend are those protaper bars. Are they like the stock yz bend. I can't find a protaper bar bend I like but I like the stocl yz bend. Please let me know it would be great Thank you

I didn’t start watching and learning from him because he was racing.. but because he is someone I can learn from and articulates and teaches exceptionally well.
What gearing are you running? Even with a ecu and the other mods , if you are running stock gearing and hitting those turns in 3rd that is pretty impressive for a 250f.

@@artvandelay2111 I can tell you this, I’ve had those maps when I rode it stock and it wasn’t the greatest when running VP T4. It would spit and sputter. TD Mapped Vortex cleaned it up nicely
@@artvandelay2111 can tell you the keefer maps on a stock 24 aren’t very good. Personally I’ve found the stock map to be best. I’ve since got a full ti akro system and twin air powerflow kit and the stock map pulls the best. 13/51 gearing pulls 3rd in corners awesome
I want to know what you think about a Husqvarna fc 250 new one I have the Husqvarna fc 350 but I got my son the Husqvarna fc 250 and wow 👌 I almost wish I would of got the 250 that thing works so well probably the best bike I've rode maybe it just fits me good what do you think ??? Love the channel helps me and my sons somuch racing

Yamaha. 🙌🏻. I’ve ridden every color of 24. Haven’t gotten to play with the 25s from different brands yet but Yamaha has been absolutely on point. Stock? Who rides stock stuff anyways. Every bike needs a little love to make em truly shine. Really. Really. Really hard. To argue with the current Yamaha offering from a racers prospective. I currently ride a 23yz450 and a plethora of different 2 strokes. The 450 is an absolute blast and a weapon every time I line up for a gate drop.
Makes ya wonder...there's no way that the Yamaha engineers/R&D guys couldn't come up with this tuning and airbox combo. TD is an awesome little company, but there's no way they have some secret sauce that's unattainable to the manufacturer development team. Why did they make it the way they did? Maybe intentionally ham stringing it so that there's future "update" potential so guys will buy next years' bike that comes this way stock? SMH. Sucks that you have to add $3000 on top of a new bike just to get it to run right. Cool video though, it does sound amazing!
$16,500 for my 24 ktm sx250. The price you pay when you finance. I got hustled into some extra coverage bullhonky that my understanding was i needed it but after reading EVERYTHING after I got home it wasn't required. TAKE THE TIME TO READ EVERYTHING and avoid financing if possible is my lessened learned

Did you have to send in your throttle body to get adapter installed?
