Best western actually bought the property around 1999 In 2000 there was a major fire in the kitchen which took out the lobby and the dining room and the kitchen. The nightclub was located just beyond the outdoor pool that was also subsequently demolished. My wife and I did stay there many years ago and we actual had been there in the 90s before the fire. They never reopened after the fire. We have been in contact with Marlo C About the Catskills as we have stayed in a few of the resorts and have driven around there in the past.
Abandoned resort with a bonus farm house at the end. Thanks Fil 😊 I hate seeing towns going under like that. I'm guessing the resort employed a lot of people who live/lived there so when it closed it probably hit the town pretty hard. Changing times I guess..

All the rich city people came upstate in the 70's then abandoned it for Florida. Such a shame that they ran the prices up and then left
It is a shame.... I think the area is beautiful
