I received my pyramid texture release last week. The tutorial was super helpful for the install. The release is a high quality part, but I think that a slightly weaker spring would help (at least on my P365). The button height in front and texture improve function a lot, but the button is still very stiff to depress. The release looks nice and I do recommend it.
Just installed the straight serrated mag release. Definitely worth it!

Just ordered one. The mag release is my only criticism of the Sig 365xl. I wish I would’ve found this video for the code.
Thumbs curve up. I have no idea why SIG designed a mag release that curved the opposite direction of thumbs. Thank you!

Thanks for the video. It would be very good if you would tell us how much the extension extends above the grip module in small fractions of an inch. Vuurwapen has a good competitor for this product, and the longer extension would win the purchase decision.
Just ordered one. I'm a lefty and use the side of my middle finger to depress the button but it being sloped toward the trigger makes it difficult so I'm sure this will fix the issue

Yep I break grip a bit. Have no holster yet. Not on I am happy with anyway. 1st things 1st.
I'm looking for a lower profile mag release.
The spring in mine was slightly too long. I could see the spring when installed. Only like a 64th of an inch but I will check on the spring and spray with clp periodically
Just finished installing this item. A lot of trouble for not a lot of remedy. Maybe my hand is too small. It still requires me to adjust my grip. Not going to "Try out" any others.
Any news on when the actual HMC9 frame will be out?
Vuurwapen will be releasing serialized frames first and expecting to release this summer.
@@Omahaoutdoors that's awesome! Will the frames come in different colors? I've shopped on your website before and I really liked the variety of colors that some of your pistols came in.

As an FYI: I installed this and put the unit in my 365 kydex holster and it is too tight, The slightest bit of pressure (when carrying IWB) releases the mag.
What holster company are you using?
@@Omahaoutdoors Does that matter? If so why isnt the supporting list found in the sites ad? BTW I have reputable brand names on all my holsters, no junk.
So we could better communicate this to Vuurwapen as they are a company that we are working with. I would like to inform them so they can do further research into a holster that their magazine release isn’t compatible with. I did contact Vuurwapen and they had told me that they tested the magazine releases with a wide range of holster companies for both IWB and OWB. Their R&D department didn’t experience issues with fitment of the mag release inside the holsters they tested nor did they have issues of unwanted ejection of the magazine while wearing the holster. That’s not to say that their mag releases will work for everyone because everyone is different in the way they carry. I will communicate with them to produce a list of compatible holsters for their customers.

The catch being a thin piece of plastic that can break easily and make it so you can't change mags seems like a poor design decision on Sig's part.
