I have the wired Astro A40 with mixamp from a few years ago, still works great. I also purchased a wireless headset, Plantronics GamesCom 818. for about $40, when those die I will probably get the Astro A10 headphones. I like wireless but I hate when battery life starts to get low and you hear those beeps.... wired is great, A10 also works with all the systems !
matthew kluge I got a pair of those headsets in 2016 may and they started having static later down the line. The recons are garbage although the Elite Pros are pretty good.
Luis Maiocchi I have a pair of wireless Stealth and the sound quality is good but the plastic must be made out of milk chocolate because they cracked and broke after 6 months . the A10's shown in this video do look durable .
A10s work for any platform! Xbox, PlayStation, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS/android device, You name it! For people that want to know how good their A10s are, yes the mic is good quality. same Sound quality as a40s and a50s, and build quality is exceptional, they won’t break, when dropped, and they are super comfortable for long gaming sessions👍 Hope that helped
for anyone who's considering this headset it's definitely worth the price, there are better headsets but for the price i don't think you can go wrong with it the only thing i don't like about it is that it's not really comfortable especially if you have big ears, if you're planning to play 5-6+ everyday, i don't think it's the best choice, it could really hurt your ears I'm kinda surprised a lof youtubers didn't mention it hope this helped!

No mic test, no talking about how they actually preform sound quality wise, this was a very incomplete review. However I do like the dog :) Note: I assume they work well for the price as they are astro, but being told that in the video would be nicer than speculation
For those saying the headset isn’t loud, try this: Settings>Devices> (turn up volume control) or Hold PS button for Quick Menu>Volume Control(headphones) up... worked for me
They're nice if you don't mind being able to hear everything around you. The ear cups are very cheap plastic that provide no type of insulation from outside noise. I returned these a day after using them because I could hear all my gf having a phone conversation perfectly clear and it was as if she was in my ear. They're great if you play somewhere with no people around. But forget about it if you live in a household
I have been using the A10's for about a year and i really enjoyed using them. The sound quality was great, the mic had no problems and they where very durable and comfortable to wear. Im upgrading to the A50's now that i can afford them. I would still recommend these headphones if your low on cash.

As someone who uses an Astro A10, I only have a few things to point out 1) The ear cushions are impossible to clean 2) I tend to get the wire snagged on things and after about a year the headset will sometimes cut out on Xbox

just brought these today , had one problem when i used the splitter to plug in my phone to listen to`music i took the splitter out and repluged it in to my ps4 controller and my mic wasn't working so i took the plug that connects to the headset and replug it in .Than my mic worked other than that they were fine , comfy ,sound felt premium but not ear rape loud.

Didn't mention that they don't sound the same as the A50. A50s use an optical cable and wireless mixamp, meaning you get full surround sound in each ear. This headset may offer left and right directional hearing, but you didn't touch on that so how are we supposed to know \_(•_•)_/
I doubt it. The a40s aren't even that good. People just like the amp. Basically all headset except for the hyperx ones are awful. Buy those or headphones
HyperX is like second in line in quality for gaming imo, Corsair is the absolute best. Logitech is on par with Astros but wayyy cheaper. Logitech G430s are $35 and sound better than Astros
The cloud stinger has better speakers and the super comfy memory foam. The microphone is not the best, but the Astro one can not be that much better for the price. If you have a proper sound card, the stinger is a much better headset.

I currently have the Logitech G430 but the swivels seem to snap easily (or maybe it's just my luck) so I'm going to get this headset instead. Seems of pretty good quality & durability and a lot cheaper than the G430. Thanks for the video.
