I've been using my 1st gen a10s since 2017 and they're still working as well as they the day I got them but I think it's time for an upgrade. Being able to switch out the ear cups and the headband cushioning is huge! It drastically increases the potential longevity of the headset and for the same price of the gen 1 model it's hard to not be satisfied.

I wish I knew about this headset earlier lmao. I've been an avid A10 user and I've had them borderline since they got in stores around me. My pair have stood strong to the test of time, I've had to replace the cable twice but thats because Im dumb and run over the cable with my chair constantly haha, just recently I noticed one of my earcups starting to fall off so I decided I needed a new headset found this video and found out they made a second model. The fact that everything is detachable is a game changer, instead of ordering a new headset because the cups are falling off you get new cups for a couple bucks! Literally ordered them from amazon Immediately because they are on sale right now for 50 bucks instead of 60, they look so much better and the color ways is so nice, got myself a lavender headset now. Definitely subscribing, really high quality video and your personality is A1

After owning for a month & being a owner of the last version of A10 v1 i was super excited for v2 but it disappointed… its nice but not as durable as the last one. They took a while to break in for the comfort as well. I dropped my headset on my hardwood floor and the left ear cup driver stopped working. I went back to using my v1’s and decided to buy new ones because theyre so much comre comfy and durable. Audio sounds the same too.

I ordered the lilac as I thought these were but then realised you said grey, ooops! Might actually look cool but might have to return them for the grey.
Hopefully they way better than the Astro A20 mines went out like 2yrs ago just out the blue and they were wireless. So I went with the Stealth headset but they aren’t nearly as flexible or durable like the Astro….especially the A10s you just showed us.
If you mess around with your audio settings you can definitely hit prime audio when it comes to footsteps! I can hear footsteps in all of my games with the Gen 1!
@@Geeloksz81 I mean I had the budget 25$ turtle beach headset and I would play Tom Clancy rainbows six siege and I couldn’t precisely hear the directions the enemies were attacking from but I also had an 70$$ turtle beach and it was precise but the Astro I’d say it’s precise but for 20$ I ain’t complaining it’s comfy and got some weight feels tough 💪
SUPER regular. Just picked these up and I'm returning them tomorrow. I still have the first gen A10s (that I bought about 6 months ago for PS5) and they honestly sound exactly the same, maybe even slightly better/louder than the new V2s. I think there's a tiny bit more bass with the older gen too. If you still have the OGs, there's no need to upgrade unless you want the latest/not so greatest. These just aren't it for me, so buyer beware.
If you mess around with your audio settings you can hear footsteps fine. I hear them almost perfectly with my first Gen when I play Siege. I can even hear small shifting movements from other players, but again, you really need to perfect your audio settings to your ears specifically. C:

It took us so long and a lot of defeat as we assumed that it was just super quiet and only one side worked. We thought we had got a dud. Then we came across this comment and struck gold! I asked to see it for a second, unplugged, plugged it back in to where I knew it was correct as my son didn't want to damage it by forcing and BOOM! ITS ALIVE!

Did you clip the aux peice in properly! Its abit of a push. The end that goes into the headset.
