1. An important thing to remember about AJ is that she refused to sign for a record deal through AGT and they relented and invited her to sing anyway.
2. AJ is currently signed with Republic Records.
3. She began singing at 18 months and due to her grandmothers influence, she was drawn to and fell in love with jazz and blues music.
4. She has been arranging most, if not all of her music performances since she was 8 years old. Hopefully this will remain as she continues her career with Republic.
5. Currently in 2022 she still performs barefoot and I hope by now that you have discovered the incredible reason why she does that.
6. AJ sews her own clothes, (the cloth is designed by her grandmother) and she stands 6 feet tall at 15 yeats old!
7. We all hope to enjoy her performances for many years to come.
8. BTW I'm 80 and have been involved privately in music since age 7.

In my opinion, it's even better and more "professional" than this one (though this one's incredible too)! It was done on a Norwegian TV show on stage in front of a live, large studio audience. You should check it out as well!

Angelina, is (like) a Singing Impersonator. She has the amazing skill to match the sounds of just about any Vocalist she hears.
Not that she is Copying ANY of them, she changes tempo, and does her thing .
It's no wonder we "hear" similar sounds of other Vocalists.
She covered "Rehab" , "Back To Black" and "Valerie". She changed the lyrics, to make them appropriate for a child.
She has also covered "Our Day Will Come".

She is fearless! Never any stage fright, just the opposite.
She had done at least 3 AW covers. Valerie, Back to black (enhanced lyrics) and Rehab (enhanced lyrics).
Other classics she has done is What a difference a day makes and Every time we say goodbye. Just to mention a couple great ones.
But she has covered almost all shangres, except opera and hard rock.
'Every Time We Say Goodbye' is one of her absolute best performances, in my opinion. It's hard to see how it could be sung any better - by anyone. Just perfection.

Harri, she is just a pro-always relaxed and comfortable on stage. Even in her first public auditions at 7 years old. Definitely watch the Norway’s Got Talent songs. All four are special in their own way. She just kills them. The combination of her incredible vocal talent and her stage presence at 7-8 is literally something you have never seen.
She seemed a bit nervous at first on Gloomy Sunday, but soon forgot her nerves once the music started. I think she was nervous singing I'm a Fool to Want You. But after that - never.
@Fred-I know what you mean. In those two, I think it was just such a new situation for her that she was a little bit tentative. But once she started singing Gloomy Sunday, she got right in that groove where she’s immersed in the music. On I’m a Fool to Want You, I think it’s more the soft and breathy interpretation that we’re seeing. It’s just so outrageous that a seven year old could even consider doing Billie Holiday a cappella in front of judges. Like her later performances-she hardly ever seems to be singing for the judges or the audience. She’s just in her musical bubble, and she wants to sing.

She makes me cry! Why? because this world has become so dark and conflicted and she makes me feel free from it! I pray that the when she rises in the World of Entertainment they leave her Beautiful heart and spirit alone! No one can touch her in talent or her goodness.

Yes, you’re wright, one of her influences is Amy Winehouse. She loves her. She has done a few covers of Amy songs.
You have to go to the Rusty Shakelford in TH-cam. He has done a complete playlist of all Angelina’s covers and original songs.
One of her exceptional (even for her) performances is her version of "I'm still holding out for you," which was written by BabyFuzz, although he didn't release his own performance of the song to the public until after Angelina recorded hers. And that's one of the songs not on Angelina's TH-cam channel (because reasons.)

She sounds like Amy Winehouse. because both she and Amy Winehouse were strongly influenced by Billie Holiday in their phrasing, their attention to the emotional meaning of every word, the freedom with which they change notes creating somewhat or a lot of a new conception of the song.
Seems all the greats from the past have influenced Angelina. The crazy thing is Angelina is able to improve those songs.

Someone may have already posted this but here are some answers to your questions. First, you cannot always trust the date on a video. Just a heads up Harri, not all of the videos are uploaded at the time they were made. For example, the 'I who have nothing' video wasn't uploaded until 2015, but it was recorded in 2012, which is probably why you thought she was 9yrs old in it.
