@@leebrn8588 Unfortunately for us live shows, concerts, appearances have been on hold for the last 6-7 months. Jackie's 20 now and trying to transition to an adult entertainer, her last album consisted of Broadway tunes and was absolutely terrific, with performances in New York, she has several videos out that are very good, in my opinion she needs more aggressive marketing and management, not sure if her father is still manager, if so it may be time to move on. Her Dream With Me PBS Special was, in my opinion, a Masterpiece, her accomplishments were astounding for someone her age and she was kinda the trailblazer leading up to all this extraordinary young talent we see these days, her future is bright. Then comes along Angelina....there aren't enough adjectives in the english language to accurately describe HER. Her admiration is global, from all walks of life, colors, ethnicities, race and musical preferences, she has good people around her and her future is limitless, the world needs this young lady to sing us a song right about now, we need it. One of her earlier videos when she was either 6 or a very early 7, and in a studio mind you, covering the Shirley Bassey or Tom Jones versions of I Who Have Nothing. It's beyond amazing. Give that one a reaction and you will have goosebumps all over.
I've seen this performance quite a few times but you reminding me that she was only 10yo caused me to take it in with that in mind. It is astonishing that a 10yo could own the stage with such a big live band, brass section and all, and deliver the best interpretation I've ever heard, and do it so effortlessly.
The brass is in fine tune and timing. There is a timing confidence Angelina brings to the band which elevates the entire performance. I'm no professional though some have understood the micro pause at the start of a phrase as something 'known' to musicians. The band is aware of it. Brings another dimension to the sensation of Angelina and band being one.
Wonderful to have you react to Angelina again. I missed you! You are a sweetie. Wishing Angelina all the best with her record deal. She has and WILL change so many lives for the better.
You may be interested to know that Angelina has just signed with Republic Records as their number one priority new artist! She had previous turned down dozens of the biggest people in the industry. This is a huge landmark and we all knew it was coming eventually. This label also has Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, Ariana grande, Jonas Brothers and more. We hear that she is generally signing on her own terms hopefully meaning a good deal of freedom.

I love your AJ reactions. Good job. I love your emotional transparency. Authenticity is SO attractive. Keep it up. When I first discovered AJ, she had the very same affect on me. Tears of joy, and sheer appreciation of her gift, her skills. There are many many different, but rare things in life that can move people; but for me, it is the enigma of Angelina Jordan. This is one of my all time favorite AJ performances... So freaking perfect.
Oooo If you had plans to do SHIELD, by all means go ahead and do it. You definitely won't be disappointed one bit. She will blow you away yet again with that one. She is a really great singer no matter the age of whoever you want to compare her to. Listen to the original of whatever she is covering some time before you hear the AJ version. She does most of them at least as well as the original and many times her version is even better. Do that with her Adele covers or her Lana DelRey covers for example and see what you think. I'd bet you will honestly favor the Angelina version on many of them.
