My prius gen 3 stopped me on the road. It give P0335. Crankshaft Position Sensor. Sensor changed, wiring harness ok, Ecu changed still the car refused to start. I thinking the mg1 has gone bad. Before the car stopped me, it was rattling and making knocking sound on at slow moving speed when the HV battery is charging only. If the Mg1 stop charging the HV battery the rattling noise stops. Could it be my transaxle that is my problem. I thinking of buy new engine and transaxle?

How do you "re-time" the resolver if you accidently took the 3 bolts off of the mg2 cover? If I know the distance between the resolver and other parts of the cover, is there a way to fix it with a micro-meter?
Hi, What gen is this motor? How many pole pairs does the resolver have and how many pole pairs does the MG1 motor have? Thanks

You need an oscilloscope to align it like a servo motor.

How to reverse motor direction with this type of resolver ? Is it enough to switch any of two main phases, or sth. more is needed ?
The resolver only reports the position of the rotor, you cannot move or control motor direction with the resolver.
