The elephant one is actually the most disturbing one to me because elephants are so highly intelligent that this training probably actually traumatized them more than the person who was getting tortured.

So while sure, we don’t put people into elaborate torture chambers on the same scale, but there is an enormous amount of people who will say anything in attempt yo hurt others for there own amusement. The bamboo one was done by mythbusters and it actually grows through you. You don’t sharpen it at all. Cutting the growth point completely stops it from growing. If anything the way to survive is to move around enough to damage the growth point and stop it from growing. Or slowly push the growth point sideways so it grows parallel to you.

That is an equal metgod of execution. Honestly better than what we have now. Handing and beheading are more of a torture because of what can go horribly wrong. Where as lethal injection is an easy out to a socio/psychopath. On the otherhand it is more equal than axe or sword as both of those depend on skill of the executioner and is also better than many other forms. Some other forms would be impalement, flaying (which is a method of torture and execution at the sane time), burying alive, mauling, etc. Executions can be just as bad as the torture. Flaying is the scaries of all of them.

The bamboo one was done by mythbusters and it actually grows through you. You don’t sharpen it at all. Cutting the growth point completely stops it from growing. That is an equal metgod of execution. Honestly better than what we have now. Handing and beheading are more of a torture because of what can go horribly wrong. Where as lethal injection is an easy out to a socio/psychopath. On the otherhand it is more equal than axe or sword as both of those depend on skill of the executioner and is also better than many other forms. Some other forms would be impalement, flaying (which is a method of torture and execution at the sane time), burying alive, mauling, etc.
Executions can be just as bad as the torture. Flaying is the scaries of all of them.
