LOVE this! Always enjoy when ATC is included and it's fun to see and hear the traffic while you are sitting between runways. Really nice job on this. Subscribed!
This is hands down the BEST Seattle landing video around! The views of the surrounding areas and geography are stunning. And the ability to watch all of the air traffic while between the runways is so unique. The ATC is just the cherry on top. Well done!
At about 8:53 you were flying over my old 'hood of Boulevard Park. I lived practically under the flight path! I love 747s so much that when I'd hear on ATC that a "heavy" was coming in, I had to run out to admire it. Thanks so much for this! I live in Ohio now, and really, really miss the familiarity of the greater Seattle area. I could name just about everything I was seeing down there. It's cool you landed from the North, much more interesting than just flying over Tacoma and Federal Way!
You can see a Cessna landing on 14L at Boeing field at 7:49. After this you can see all of the 737 MAX's that were grounded and undelivered. Nice video!
@@WanderTheWorld Most people don't find SeaTac easy to get in and out of traffic wise, but don't mind it at all. I hear most people say they'd rather go to PDX than Sea-Tac. Not me. It's the familiarity with the layout at Sea-Tac and the natural beauty that surrounds the airport. The Cascade mountain ranges, the water, the airplanes all around, the pretty mild weather, and the green trees 🌲. I know SeaTac has a real problem right now with not being able to expand, but I do like the airport. :)
Thanks for the excellent and thoughtful response! Scenery wise, I think there are few airports that can match it! And maybe it’s just because I’m familiar with it but logistically it doesn’t bother me. I can’t really see PDX as a viable alternative. And nothing compares with those rare clear days when you’re heading south and fly right by Mt Rainier. 🏔️
Southbound traffic is great for both approach and departure, but northbound approach on a snowy day is unreal. Seeing mt rainier and plunging through the clouds, then it takes several seconds to realize you’re below the clouds and everything is covered in snow and it’s just so majestic
Wife and I spent time in Seattle a few years back. We loved it. We wish we could afford to buy property/live there. We also found the airport easy to use, efficient, and had good access to and from the downtown area.
This is really cool. I flew from Chicago to SeaTac because I attended a high school for three years. I’ve always loved airplanes. and enjoyed several flights back and forth. Thank you to the Pilots and flight Attendants who made my journey to graduate with my high school diploma a success.
We arrived on AS128 via this approach in August 2021. I had the same perspective/view. I was able to spot a departing cruise ship as well. The Carnival Miracle maybe? But flight 128 went all the way up to Everett before turning downwind. So I saw some nice views of PAE and many green 777-9s. Very kool! Great video and the ATC audio is awesome! Thank you for posting!
During high traffic density the aircraft (and if the wind is favoring the 16 runways), ATC does vector arrivals all the way up to Everett on downwind before turning onto base. Just depends on how much space they need between the aircraft and how many need to get down.
Very nice video clear and smooth .When I was a kid we lived not from north east of SeaTac on 144 south between Military Rd and Hwy 99 . Where you turned base was about over where I last lived near Kenmore just south of Kenmore Country Club . Before leaving the west side for South Eastern Washington in1980 to home the Columbia Cup held in July . It's to see where I grew up from the sky ,miss the old Seattle but wouldn't even bother with it now the way their doing business today politically.
I've lived in the first four cities/neighborhoods (since WC is unincorporated) you listed! I'm a Southender through-and-through. Get me north of the U-District and I'm lost.
It is all about quick and concise communication, a must at any busy airport. The happy talk is common at smaller airports, but the majors just keep it quick and simple. And for good reason...they are too busy for it!

What a beautiful setting for a city! So many bodies of water everywhere. Must be fabulous this time of year.
It’s a beautiful area to live in and the summers are absolutely fabulous. Unfortunately they only last for about six weeks. 😂
@@WanderTheWorld Yeah I've heard about the rain LOL. Looking forward to visiting someday.
Washington has good people, good places to have a good time, do not miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful state.
Agreed, and it's a beautiful state!

@@RollingWithTerry Sounds like every state! :) Or maybe you are talking about the "Seattle Freeze"?
awesome. I love the ATC Traffic Control Audio / CC.
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching
Terrific video! Seattle is so beautiful from the air especially on those southbound approaches. Nice ATC too!
Thank you and thanks for watching!

Wow, thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! :-)
There I landed in 2018 and had the most beautiful summer of my life. Thanks.
So glad to hear it!
That landing was awesome! So smooth!

Cool! And you're definitely right, it's much better landing from the North!

Looks like a small Piper to me, I think it's a low wing but I can't say for sure.
I know it may be an unpopular opinion, but Sea-Tac is one of my favorite airports at which to land. :) Beautiful video!
Thank you! What do you like most about Sea-Tac?

One of the most scenic places to land in the U.S.

Excellent, good for you! And thanks for watching!
the block of white off to the left at the start i use to work over there and loved watching plains fly over
Thank you for showing this at my favorite atc airport!
It's so beautiful views from the plane in SeaTac, 👍👍👍. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Nice! Liked the atc sync. Consider doing this for the other locations you visit.
Thank you! Yes, the hope is to do more ATC syncs in future videos. Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful video, miss traveling, let's hope the pandemic be over soon and we all can get back to normal.
5:30-Husky stadium!💜💛🐺🏈
I love Seattle, White Center, Tukwila, Renton, South Center, Kent, Tacoma, etc. I be back.

What language was tower using?
My son’s voice I could pick his. Once out anywhere
I have family that lives there.
Did you have prior permission to have your camera/phone out? Great quality, what camera or phone was used?
No permission is really required and the phone was in airplane mode. This was recorded on an iPhone 12 Pro Max at 4k 60fps. Thanks for stopping by!
What airline are you on?
ASA Alaska Airlines
Beautiful view but I’m curious if your attention is distracted while filming during flying?
You're joking right?
Good ol Washington
is this real life????????????????????
I can see my house 👀
?? Tower operator rush for lunch ? why speak so fast
I figure they talk like they do because they're so used to it. They don't do it for the public's edification, after all.
