I always open the fill plug first. Hear me out....if you open the drain first and get the fluid out, and then the fill plug gets stuck, you're stuck with an empty diff that you can't fill back up.

Ao1b is a torsen and has a identical casing the open ao1a diff (with fins) it is Is a rare option in the n-a i have it in my na a ao1b has the same outer casing as the ao1a open just diff guts Just so you know, not all the fin diffs are open some are torsens

TORSEN LSD its a neat system ...Lexus IS300 Is Torsen T2 (Altezza and IS200) newer ones stronger they say ? more digging needed + i found 3:1 TQ split on some but one needs to look up to very-fi all that tech mess ;} Other Model Used Torsen T1 (Chaser,Mark, Ect) blabla

I have a something simliar to what you have. I have a gs300 LSD rear DIFF from Kaaz. My question is, when installing this after the main washer. Exactly how many thin washer did you use on that top of that to create the perfect spacing when putting it on the supra.

Those are the 200mm small diffs
Torsen has those worm gears like the Eaton trutrac! I’d rather have that than the Posi clutch type it takes regular fluid and never wears out! 👍

So if I had an a01b centre and an a01a open housing I could put the lsd centre into the open housing?
