Thank you for posting this. I currently ride a 2018 Gear Up. Prior to that a 2005 Tourist which is still running strong, the current owner is a friend of mine. I'm not trying to sound unsympathetic, but hopefully the Russia/Ukrainian war situation doesn't screw us up for parts and maintenance items down the road, and the loss of life ends.
Well, I have to hand it to you, Jon Ya done did a good job on them thar gears ⚙️ And we got the enduro seat on the Patrol today too, just had to file out the front slot some to get the 15mm shank in the top plate where the 2015 seat front shank was only 14mm, but we got’er done 😎👍✅
I am in Oz as well. Also, with a 2022 GU. Is this bike in the hands of Ural Australia yet?? Or your dealer?? Obviously, I am very interested in your troubles. I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
So that's what that shaft looks like inside where I had to grind down a 22mm socket (I think it was 22mm, or was it 27mm) and tighten the nut on the output yoke. Nice to see what's on the other side. Hope we don't bust a transmission, but I know where to send it if we do!
