I too never did believe in tarot and astrology, as a born Catholic I even used to think that it's creepy.. But now I'm here and tbh it feels good to know that the Universe cares for you and it also gives me a sense of belongingness that I've craved for so long.

I never believed in this trash either. I've seen tarot before, I've had readings, and each one was generic garbage that could easily apply to anyone.
Then one day I saw one of eso's videos and I clicked on it. I felt like my soul was being molested, the accuracy made me want to vomit.
Naturally, I watched another because surely it was just a coincidence. But again and again, the readings hit. And I even acted on them with great results
Same, I used to think this stuff is evil. And although I'm still slightly sceptical about tarot I still feel like some kind of higher power has my back and that's a nice feeling.
I watch a lot of readers out there and you have a true gift! Not everyone has it! And the fact that you were miserable beforehand it was just the alarm to say remind you... "girl you have a calling, you need to follow! " Much love and thank you for all your readings!

So much of your story resonates with me. I'm a psychology student.....I have neglected my spirituality to find a more objective and empirically supported reality. But my life feels empty without turning to the unseen realm, and I have been waiting to start reading tarot again. I have one deck and have wanted to collect more and make videos for so long (videos of anything vulnerable, not necessarily ones with cards but I'm open to anything). I really appreciate that you shared your perspective. It's easy to lose touch when I'm chasing validation in college (though psychology is fascinating). I think you're more inspiring than you realize.

Aw! I'm so grateful you made this vid. As someone who comes from a science background too, I didn't believe in tarot bc I thought ppl wouldn't take me seriously. I'm so glad you stuck with it because you truly have a gift! I heard another tarot reader say that card reading is an element to therapy that should be explored more often and I couldn't agree more. Bingo! Your story reflects my journey, up until the point where you started a channel. I've been hesitant to go online.
I think I'm afraid of putting in so much effort only to fail.
I learned to tattoo. Taught myself by practicing on myself. Got an apprenticeship and started working on general public, then realized I didn't like working on strangers, or causing others to feel pain. Failed and moved on.
I also have a degree in IT but I cannot seem to work with others in standard ass kiss mode.
I did a 1-1 reading for my new neighbor the other day and I was nervous. I got the general message out but didn't dwell on depth. I feel I could have done better but my neighbor was satisfied...or so she said.

I just came back to this video after a recent release from the hospital (lol what depression?) and I just wanted to thank you for your vulnerability. Unfortunately, I’m still living that pre-Eso lifestyle despite my tarot readings and active search for spiritual connection. I don’t know how I’ll finally make the leap of faith that you did, but I hope I can in time to turn my life around. I am so glad you shared your story Eso. Really resonated with me - I have come from being an academic, a PhD psychology researcher, super logical. But had a major spiritual awakening and deep depression/anxiety 4 years ago. Didn't want to live, saw no point, exactly as you described. Having researched Jung and transpersonal/positive/integral psychology etc for over 2 decades, we know that tarot speaks to well defined and much talked about psychological "archetypes" and the "collective unconscious". Redefining our personal story and mythology is now increasingly considered a successful tool for personal and community healing. It;s not bullshit, it has a sound psychological basis.
Life is about balance of heart-mind-body-Spirit and I learnt that the hard way. Even shuffling cards and looking at the artwork helps settle my anxiety by doing something tactile and using my hands creatively and intuitively. I now believe the purpose of life is to stay alive because you may just surprise yourself if you allow yourself to unfold into who you TRULY are. I am about to open my practice as a creative arts therapist/counsellor and will start reading tarot, which I NEVER thought I would do.... That's the beauty and bitter-sweetness of life.

Gosh you're such an INFP because I can relate! Before my spiritual awakening, I'm that person that's like "If I don't see it, if there's no accurate real source to back it up, I won't believe in it".
