to clear it up the 2 stations passed were covent garden, I was here when this was filmed so I know that this was for crowd control reasons as only 1 lift was operational the other one was gloucester road don't know why that was closed though probably for lift refurbishment as the only way is via lift at both of these stations to piccadilly line trains unless you take the stairs... but it's unrecommended
I am fascinated by the tube and have visited and photographed every station. As a driver, I'd like to ask if you have a favourite section of track or station?
Yes and no! The hoops you have to jump through in the recruitment process . The uphill learning curve you have to go through with test nearly every week you have to get a pass mark of at least 80%. Some people see i for the money but they don't last.If you have an interest in the job it helps, if you are willing to put your own time into it and make the sacrifice of any social or family life then you might make it.
Hi there~ Can I ask for your authorisation to reupload this video to the Chinese video website called Bilibili? I will attach the station names and interchanges as I did in my DLR to Lewisham video. Thanks very much!
Hi there. I'm looking for London Underground footage for a video song and I want to know if I can use yours, naturally your credit will appear in the video. The song is called "Belsize Park": soundcloud.com/cassielmx/belsizepark As you can see, mi channel is totally amateur. Please let me know if you're interested. Cheers

I wish this could be real time rather than time lapse, even with the rain, very nice though, cheers...
I think this would be great in real time with the sound. Speeding it up saves time, but it loses all the sound and visual detail.
Speeding up the footage is a great use in this situation.

Too bad about the rain its a great vid!
So I see from the comments why it bypassed Convent Garden (although they kept the lights on for some reason), but why Green Park?
Not stopping at Covent Garden...... Sunday service?
Very Nice Video BUT..... Maybe add some Background Music
I am fascinated by the tube and have visited and photographed every station. As a driver, I'd like to ask if you have a favourite section of track or station?
Park Royal to Alperton best bit of track. As for stations to me it has to be Down Street ( yes disused ) but nice to look around..
My favourite abandoned stations are York Road and Osterley Park and spring Grove.
I wish I knew which station the train is stopping at, as the film progresses.
+Andy JS simple get a map of the Picc from Cockfosters to Uxbridge and keep in time with the stops
+Piccadilly line I was starting about half way through the video so I couldn't do that.
+Andy JS I think you can press the pause button, if you are very quick.
+Delroy Roberts Thanks, I'll try it.
Agreed. It would be nice to know where we are ... doesn't take a few minutes to add a bit of text to a video.
Excellent film. Would you get a bolloking if you got caught filming your route...?
no part of a filming project.
I wish traveling was this fast in real time.
You wouldn't have time to get on and off.
@@Wildcard71 plus the acceleration would kill you
put it on 2x speed. LOL goes extremely fast
Quicker than the Vic over the past day!!!!
Piccadilly Line because there were delays on the Victoria Line?
More like no service
I've been on that pedestrian bridge which is next to the tunnel between Arnos Grove to Bounds Green. When was it constructed?
was it hard to become a driver for the underground?

Oh okay. Why the part about sacrificing social and family life? Can you elaborate
The stations the train did not stop at were Covert Garden and Glouster Road
They were probably closed.

Btw I cannot understand why so many downvotes… maybe it's because it doesn't have a bgm or sth?
Go for it.
Piccadilly line Thanks very much!
Damn, the Picadilly Line goes fast.
It’s timelapse so hope ur making a joke
infact its the slowst line, along with the bakerloo line when its underground because it has no ato
@@Enviri no, it is not because it does not have Automatic Train Operation, it's max speed is only 45 miles per hour, which is not the regular 62 mph.
Trying to get to light speed?
Anything above 45
Don't sub-surface and deep level trains use the difference platform heights...?
I don't think so. On some stations on the Uxbridge branch, the Methropolitan line and the Picadilly line shares platforms.
No station closed weekends to westbound service

2:34 station closure?
Yep
The video is great and, if anything, the rain in London's West shows this was filmed in the Real World, complete with Real World conditions.✔️✔️✔️👍👍👍
slow down to 0.25 watching speed. fast enough.
Amazing, I like
how many time? "Real time"
+Jean Peter Perez 1h 40m
Nice!
