    I also fell for the chemical guys marketing bs. Bought a “kit” from them. Paid like 70 bucks for there “speed wipe” detail spray the blue tire shine stuff, the clay lube, and like a bottle of mr pink. Definitely disappointed in that speed wipe detail spray. Stuff was very streaky and hard to wipe off, note which is literally the same as the clay luber. Not bashing just being honest. I now use shine supply products and couldn’t be happier with the switch.

    Use what chemicals you prefer. I don’t completely use chemical guys, as they have many products that do the same thing, but they also have a lot of very high quality products. Read the product descriptions and choose accordingly

      @@DiBaccoDetails I believe you. But it’s all on the paint . I work with a 77 formula. For your longevity issue I’ve used meguiars and it’s great but on black paint it seems to not last long evenproperly sealed etc . I’ve tried chemical guys stuff. (It’s again okay some products are mish mash and some are gems) I truly believe it’s the amount of time and effort you as a detail company don’t have the time to do second or third passes on a vehicle. Where chemical guys layering system from my experience works great for the average person. Again I’m not busting you but I worked in a paint department for a parts manufacture and they use 3M products if I would get serious I would pay for that as I have seen it work wonders ( 75 bucks per tube) . But for the weekend warrior Chemical Guys and Meguiars are the go to sold hand and hand Your experience is valid and your in the upper class of the hobby I’m just stating if you want the premium use what manufacturers use

      i use a Rupes polisher and i really like their unoprotect, but Lake Country pads and meguires compounds have been treating me nicely recently. i have gotten all kinds of crazy compounds but i always default back to meguires.

    My experience with chemical guys has been mixed. Some of their products are great and some are terrible. I love their soap and dressings, but their wheel cleaner isn't strong enough to clean the caked-on brake dust from my wheels on my 2019 Mustang GT PP1. I just picked up a bottle of their P4 polish cause it really the only polish that state it can be used by hand instead of a machine. I spent the last 3 days polishing my car and it turned out great, but my car is also garage kept, and isn't daily driven.

      yeah, from what I'm reading between this video and the original video's comments, is that it certainly isn't professional, but there are a select few that are OK.

    Was just about to purchase a 17 item kit including da polisher from CG and I found your video! I have a 2004 Honda Accord with clearcoat oxidation on the hood, roof, and trunk. Wish I could attach a pic but I'm sure you've encountered plenty. What polisher, compounds, pads and anything else would you recommend for this job? I just found your channel so I"ll be searching your videos to see if my question is already answered in one. I'm a fellow vet so also wanted to say thank you for your service!

    Its like the problow, why tf would i want to blow dry a car, and how is that really cutting the time in half? I see right through that stuff. The average person probably doesnt realize that if you're going to blow dry a car, you have to start at the top and work your way down. Idk, its weird, ive been dryailing my whole life because of my father, and sometimes i look at these weird products when I shouldn't

    • @DiBaccoDetails
      @DiBaccoDetails  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i do actually utilize a battery powered leaf blower in my business but with an asterisk* its meant to pull water out from crevices, cracks, blow off engine bays, wheels, and inside mirrors and beds. Even with the most buttery slick paint, you cant dry a car with a handheld blower, a proper drying towel is always needed.

      i think he more wanted to be heard and for someone to deliver a sense of security. Good customer service weighs the customers feedback against their own policy and determine if policy is necessary to be enforced. Outside of that, it is a bit bizarre for anyone to expect a response after the return policy has expired. Especially after he used the products on multiple cars

      i will stand by that it is nowhere near professional quality, but ill also stand by and say for the average Joe, not chasing micro perfection, just wanting to keep their own car clean, it will do more than enough for that type of customer.
