What a wonderful little spot for decoying, such a nice scouting find and again all your selective efficiency with minimal disturbance has proved again a very successful day for duck hunting. Congratulations! And thanks for the productive video interview exchange on Surviving Duck season of Joel Strickland! I was in heaven! My two favorite providers of meaningful information on the subjects of interest even if you are kind at both ends of the spectrum in this matter, wonderful excellent exchange! Only in America! Great spirits have to meet! God bless you both and finish your Great season.😊😊😊😊
That piece of water looked familiar from last year,I also like the way You shoot ,I’ve done it myself stay hidden and follow the descent and the don’t get startled.Makes for cleaner kills and better shooting ! Great Video !
Another great hunt Matt! It never fails, leave the hide to retrieve downed birds and ducks start landing in the spread. That will always keep things interesting.Lol
Great hunt, Matt! Ive seen a few recent videos of you using TSS #8 shot, did you feel that the #9 shot was insufficient? Trying to develop some loads for myself.
5 mallards? We can only shoot 4 with of the 4 only 2 hens. I hunt eastern Iowa on the Mississippi. We don’t have the birds like you are getting. Really enjoy your videos and your sportsmanship. I hunt heavily public areas and there isn’t many that let the ducks work and take good kill shots.

Great hunt Matt, glad you were able to find them all, I’ve lost more than one in the reeds…

Good work Matt, like the greenheads only effort. You’re a helluva bird dog- those reeds are tough. 👏
Thanks Dave! Yeah, they can be a pain
SW Louisiana here. I really enjoy your videos. Our season opens this weekend. Are you shooting 8 shot Steel?
Thanks! Not steel, TSS.
Great hunt, Matt! Ive seen a few recent videos of you using TSS #8 shot, did you feel that the #9 shot was insufficient? Trying to develop some loads for myself.
Thanks! No, I like the 9s. I just ran out of them

Yep. We can only bag two hens as well. Pacific Flyway can shoot seven mallards a day. Appreciate that!
Sorry if this has been answered already Matt, why the Ethos over the SBE3?
The Ethos just feels more well-constructed. I also had my bead and rib fall off after about a week of hunting with the SBE3.
how do you find your different spots to hunt? Also keep up the good hunting!
Lots of scouting and trial and error. Sometimes you have to try something different to see if it works
Matt you should wash your decoys lol, there getting dirty
Haha yeah, they need a good rinse
