I hope you guys know that you are really doing a good job. It is very informative even to some Filipinos. This speaks a lot about your genuine interest to the country. Add to that your genuine enthusiasm and sweet charm which are very contagious. No wonder you will be reaching 100K sooner than expected. Thank you for everything that you do. It means a lot to us Filipinos abroad who are missing our homes. Good luck and stay safe always.

This video made me miss Cebu. My husband was from Cebu City, and we lived there for 16 years. It is such a beautiful place where city and provincial life meet. The standard of living is pretty much like Manila, but If you want to relax, you have quick access to the mountains or the beautiful beaches. Thank you for sharing your experiences there.
Hi guys, I'm a Cebuano and I'm from Cebu City. I'll tell you that the longer you stay in this Queen City, know its culture and diversity, the more you'll like it here. Our local people are naturally hospitable, approachable and friendly. There are a lot of cheap or very affordable places, food, clothing and etc if you know where to find them. Good luck, God bless and more power to your channel.
same brother, same and ive watched so many vloggers visit cebu and pass up so many things i wouldve bee lined for and the fact that ive never been there before is excruciating... hopefully all goes back to normal and i can come and visit at last.
Personally, I think Cebu is the best place to live. I like everything is in reach, like big malls in just 15 mins, amazing beaches in just 15mins, amazing food, hotels, and restaurant in just 15 mins, the mountains in just 15mins, a big hospitals are near just in case of emergency, there's a direct flight to many countries, it's like convenience and necessities are within reach. I really love it. I just hope we get to have more parks here in Cebu and it's just gonna be like South Korea. It's amazing really
Fun fact: Compared to those jeepneys in Manila, our jeepneys in Cebu are number-coded according to their route (that's why you see numbers like 14D, 01K, 12L, 06B), it makes going around more efficient. Cebu's transitioning to modern jeepneys, called 'Beeps', or bus-jeep hybrids.
@@fkoff7649 The new Mango Beep following the Talisay-IT park route has a pretty festive design tho. Modern beeps are an option for commuters who want to stay cool, especially on a very hot day. Wouldnt wanna discredit beeps bc pre-pandemic, I was very comfortable commuting to school during rush hour, despite having to stand the whole ride.

Hi guys. In case you are not aware, it is typical and normal here in the Philippines to ask your servers or restaurants to have your leftover foods be packed to go. We are delighted to see that you enjoyed all that you ordered. In case you are tired or lazy to go out to grab food for later then you have something with you. Take care and enjoy!
South African accent, I've been to your country many times like Pretoria, Port Elizabeth , Cape Town and of course Johannesburg which is my connecting flight to Dar As Salam ang Luanda Angola over 6 years.Hopefully you enjoy both in the Philippines.
To be honest, Cebu is one of the most beautiful places I have visited with rich history and background. If I move to the Philippines this would be my first choice to choose from. there is so much to see and it's only a river ride to Bohol. Manila is great but only in BGC if you choose to live in Manila. the vibe between the two cities is different I feel like Cebu is more layback than Manila.
@@ShevandDev that's a very accurate description of the province! If you like a city with a laid-back kind of vibes but still equipped with modern-day conveniences then this is the city for you. In an hour's ride, you could go to Mactan Island for a dip in the sea. Or go south and enjoy the country life and nature.
This is what I love about your channel. You both show interest in learning about the culture and the people. That should help you understand why we live our lives a certain way compared to, say, Manila or another part of the country. Good job guys!
House of Lechon was my favorite, I remember my first bite too of lechon, it has a different crunch than any other lechon in the country; like Manila, Cebu is a mixture of old and new, i like strolling in the Ayala mall area and IT park as well, will visit again for sure.
Morning Guys! Keep doing your homework on the history, culture, and geography of the different places you are in. The extra information and content in your videos distinguishes you from other travel vloggers.
When I saw all the dishes you ordered at the House of Lechon I kept wondering to myself how are they going to finish all that? The food looked amazing. I could imagine it was delicious as well. Definitely if you want to save money, take public transportation which is much cheaper than taking a cab. Just ask for help and tell people where you intend to go and they will tell you which jeep or bus to take.
When you buy Lechon make sure get at least a three plates because it's SOO GOOD! Late Anthony Bourdain voted Lechon best pork in the world he been to different countries try all pork but Lechon is the best 👌! He just LOVE IT with beer. He also loves sisig!

this has got to be the best Vlog about my home town. Thank you for saying kind words to Cebu. Cebu is a crossover city between Manila and the islands and provinces: what Manila has, we have. the beautiful beaches around the country, we also have. Yes, Cebu is a place you can retire. Welcome. The cebuanos are also Very good in english. You won't get lost in translation if you stay in the city.
Thank you for visiting our hometown. I was smiling the whole time while watching your videos and it's because of how informative you guys! I honestly prefer this kind of vlog as it gives infos to other foreign who wants to have any ideas of visiting Cebu. I hope you'll visit Plaza Independencia and the oldest built in Cebu- Fort San Pedro. I'll surely believe you'll enjoy checking it!! Love u guys! Take care always! xoxo
I visited Cebu last month, theyve got this fun city island yet modern vibe. Try their La Vie Parisienne in Lahug for great pizza and pasta too. Have a blast guys!
Filipino people love watching your blogs because you are very warm to the Filipino people too! You love the waving of the people you are good, you love our food, you talked very clearly
That's great that you had fun strolling around Cebu City. But you should've visited Basilica del Sto Niño since you were in Colon. Go to SM SEASIDE as well.
I followed 12 new foreign couples traveling around the Philippines right now but you two are my favorite. I love your sunny disposition and genuine reaction. I also love that you truly immerse yourselves with our local culture and you make an effort to research and learn about our history. I really wish you publish vlogs on a daily basis. I know that’s a hard task given internet availability and the time to edit, but that would help blow your subscription even more. Anyways, enjoy your travels and keep safe! You are doing a great job!
I figured that everyone else will comment on the feast you had so I will talk about Cebu's deep secret. You went to Colon Street which is the oldest street in the Philippines. Cristobal Colon is the Spanish name of Christopher Columbus. Cebu is the legendary city of Sheba, as in Queen of Sheba...which is the real reason why Magellan chose to plant the cross there and claim the islands for God and Spain. Obviously, they didn't come for the spices but for the gold. The story behind the Yellow Brick Road is based on Cebu and its wealth and the basis for the story of the Wizard of Oz. Filipinos have the most difficult time believing in this legend because we have been through centuries of pain and suffering under the Spaniards. As Christians, Filipinos wonder why God had punished us if He actually loved and cared for His people. So there...let that all sink in!
You’ve finally arrived to my hometown, born and grew up in Cebu and missed it for almost 3 years and I finally was able to travel and visit this year. I normally go home almost every one to two years from the US. Studied my undergrad a few miles from Colon. I’m glad you guys did your research before walking and traveling around. Lechon, yum! Have fun and enjoy!
Thanks for visiting our country. Filipinos really love when people from different countries visit us and especially make these videos about our country and culture. I love your way of making videos especially when you guys walk in the street. Keep safe guys. Hope you have a great time with us and you feel at home in our country.
Oh! And Ayala Mall! Wow! You are featuring my fave mall too! I'm so much happy! Yey! There's another Ayala Mall and it's called Central Bloc in I.T. Park. About 2.3 kilometers away from this 1st ever Ayala Mall in Cebu. And there's an ongoing construction of the 3rd Ayala Mall in Mandaue City. Neighboring City of Cebu City that is.
Yes you are correct. Cebu is the potential place to stay for good in the Philippines. Thanks for dropping by my hometown. Hope you enjoyed our famous lechon. 😊
When you are at the very end of the jeepney bench, you pass your fare and so does everyone else same time, your change comes back amazingly fast and orderly. Other way of traveling to save; more local! luv it, the way i would do it to maximize the experience.
Hiya Shev and Dev, love that you drop people's comments about places to visit. Love that you took a jeepney. The way to travel in the Philippines. I have always loved the vibes of the Philippines. Hi Nicky! We hope that we have convinced you to visit us haha!🤩 We are really enjoying the vibes here! so much to do so little time. Thank you as always and enjoy your week!❤
@5:44 that mini bus you ride to SM is the "modern jeepney". It tends to replace the traditional jeepney, phasing out old jeepney. it looks like a mini bus but locals still refer to it as a jeepney
So Good to see you guys Enjoying Cebu! I enjoyed watching your videos and I hope you could visit Davao City soon. Sending loves and take care always, Shev and Dev! ❤️🇵🇭🎉
Wow! I almost cried when you said Cebu could potentially be your home. I cant wait for you guys to explore Badian and Moalboal in the south, San Remegio, DaanBantayan and Bantayan in the north. Im also glad that you guys are enjoying the food in the Philippines in general without any limitations. Keep it up! Visit IT park too! 😄
I recommend that you did. Like i said, CEBU is the best combination of city and island life in the country. Or per your experience thus far, metro manila in the middle of palawan. Less the pollution, cost and congestion of manila. How can you top that? lol And, gateway to other top destinations in phl and other parts of the world (they have an AWESOME international airport)
Enjoy the jeepney rides and the traditional forms of transport. I think as Philippines continues to modernize its possible they might slowly start to disappear due to regulations or other preferences that may appear.
If you are still in Cebu by April 27, wait for the inauguration of the Cebu-Cordova Expressway Link, the iconic bridge that was 8 years to build. You will be one of the first vloggers to ever film it. Godspeed.

If I move to the Philippines this would be my first choice to choose from. there is so much to see and it's only a river ride to Bohol. Manila is great but only in BGC if you choose to live in Manila. the vibe between the two cities is different I feel like Cebu is more layback than Manila.
We agree, you get the best of both worlds in Cebu😍
I'm reriting in Cebu City in 3 years and I can't wait for that in this short life 🙂
@@ShevandDev if you want City life,or Nature, CEBU has it all, try Oslob whale shark watch or Kawasan Falls
We really appreciate your kind feedback John! Thank you so much🤗🙏
House of Lechon was my favorite, I remember my first bite too of lechon, it has a different crunch than any other lechon in the country; like Manila, Cebu is a mixture of old and new, i like strolling in the Ayala mall area and IT park as well, will visit again for sure.
congratulations.. roaming in the philippines will never be the same again once you mastered the jeepney transport system
Cebu is the best it got everything from nature to shopping.
Oh yes we agree!😍
Morning Guys! Am hungry now l think they have a Resto here in Sydney that serve that Cebu Lechon, my goozzz love your vlog your the 1st blogger that l subscribed to, am so in gross with all you foreign bloggers who are in the Philippines right now, thanks so much for your nice content, take care and always be safe.👍👍👍🇦🇺👍👍👍🇵🇭🙏🙏🙏🙏
Keep doing your homework on the history, culture, and geography of the different places you are in. The extra information and content in your videos distinguishes you from other travel vloggers.
We are so happy you enjoy that! I guess we are learning as we go haha so its fun to share what we uncover! We appreciate your kind words 😍🤗
@@ShevandDev I agree, the added value makes their vlog interesting and exciting to watch. They deserve the high engagement.
We definitely had some takeaways! And they were actually so nice to snack on afterwards haha! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs😍
When you buy Lechon make sure get at least a three plates because it's SOO GOOD! Late Anthony Bourdain voted Lechon best pork in the world he been to different countries try all pork but Lechon is the best 👌! He just LOVE IT with beer. He also loves sisig!
Thanks for sharing my hometown! Cebu has the most diverse food that you could imagine and the best white sand beaches! You don’t get bored in Cebu, it has the lively nightlife, beautiful islands, falls, hot & cold spring, coral reefs, marine life and scenic mountains! I miss my hometown! Your new subscriber here, a Cebu native living in USA! Hoping to comeback there in the future!
For some wonderful reason, the litson in Cebu is the sweetest and most tender. Hopefully at nighttimes, the street vendors are out again and grilling freshly caught fish 💜
Thanks for trying our crispy lechon...I really missed that . Enjoy 😂your holiday. Keep safe
I am so hungry just watching you eating the exotic Filipino food. I'm so jealous of you guys. Have fun and enjoy the Philippine islands. I wish I can visit there soon, love from London.
Me too. Felt so hungry from the food. Missed Cebu.
Thank you for watching! Wow we miss London a lot, hope the weather is good these days!😍
As a Cebuano in Cebu, thank you for coming, visiting and appreciating our place. Hope you stay longer here.
Try to visit southern part of cebu and also the northern part too .. there's more place you can enjoy.. and always ask to the local they will help you where you want to go .. enjoy your vacation at cebu..
It’s like listening to travel journalists! 😊

As always, another excellent presentation. "Daghan Salamat". It means, thank you very much.. 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤🇵🇭💚
Absolutely Loved When Shev Stuck Out Her Head From The GP Ride & Said Welcome To Cebu. Streets Seemed Busy. How Can You Not See The Huge Yellow Sign For Kara's Fried Chicken. Love Yummy Pig. I Could Hear The Crunch From The Pigs Skin. Fantastic From Start To Finish
Thanks so much Drew🤗 We really enjoyed this day! Thanks for always watching and commenting
Really enjoyed this video of your trip to Cebu and that food looks so yummy!
Cebu is truly the Queen City of the South
Loved it. What a great place with so much variety. I would love to see places to stay there.
The video I have been waiting for!! I’m living in Bangkok for three years now and finally going back to my city, Cebu for a month this weekend 😍 Watching this video makes me even more so excited to visit my beloved hometown again 🤩🤩 thank you for this video you guys 💖💖
Awwww….wish you have best time in my BKK and consider both your mother city Cebu and BKK your homes. 💖🌸🥰 🇵🇭 🇹🇭
Aw we really hope you can travel back soon! Hope you are enjoying your time in Bangkok! A city we love too 😍
this has got to be the best Vlog about my home town.
Take care always! xoxo
Thanks for visiting our beautiful Cebu! ❤ I love ure vlog! 😊
I visited Cebu last month, theyve got this fun city island yet modern vibe. Try their La Vie Parisienne in Lahug for great pizza and pasta too. Have a blast guys!
Now we want pizza! Hahaha thanks so much we will check that out now!😍
Filipino people love watching your blogs because you are very warm to the Filipino people too! You love the waving of the people you are good, you love our food, you talked very clearly
It almost feels like a documentary more than a daily vlogs. 🙂 Cool naration though super entertaining.... Keep it up 😉
That's great that you had fun strolling around Cebu City. But you should've visited Basilica del Sto Niño since you were in Colon. Go to SM SEASIDE as well.
My favorite thing in Cebu, the food!!
A definite highlight 😍
I followed 12 new foreign couples traveling around the Philippines right now but you two are my favorite. I love your sunny disposition and genuine reaction. I also love that you truly immerse yourselves with our local culture and you make an effort to research and learn about our history. I really wish you publish vlogs on a daily basis. I know that’s a hard task given internet availability and the time to edit, but that would help blow your subscription even more. Anyways, enjoy your travels and keep safe! You are doing a great job!
you guys are really having fun and experiencing everything with eyes of wonder. keep it up and on to more adventures!
Aw thank you Miguel🤗
I am glad you decided to live in Cebu forever. It really is a nice place and I hope you start your new lives here
I figured that everyone else will comment on the feast you had so I will talk about Cebu's deep secret.
Thank you for the info! Really awesome and interesting facts, we really love that!🤗
You’ve finally arrived to my hometown, born and grew up in Cebu and missed it for almost 3 years and I finally was able to travel and visit this year. I normally go home almost every one to two years from the US. Studied my undergrad a few miles from Colon. I’m glad you guys did your research before walking and traveling around. Lechon, yum! Have fun and enjoy!
Thank you so much and so happy you could return to Cebu! We hope you enjoy your travels 🥰🙏
that's just the tip of the iceberg of what Cebu can offer, hope you enjoy staying in my hometown. .always looking forward to your videos
So much to do and see, we are so excited!😍
Thanks for visiting our country. Filipinos really love when people from different countries visit us and especially make these videos about our country and culture. I love your way of making videos especially when you guys walk in the street. Keep safe guys. Hope you have a great time with us and you feel at home in our country.
Thanks! 😃 We really appreciate that Russel
I enjoy every words you utter guys, very inspiring and uplifting words, thank you for the visit in the Philippines, more fun to go how about Davao?
lovely kind couple. Love watching your vlog positive vibes healthy and happy.
The beaches/island of Cebu are magnificent also 👑
You must visit 🤍🤍🤍
Don't forget to see the Magellan's cross in Cebu. I think it's the oldest sight in the Philippines
oh my lord. this is my hometown. I was born here but currently lives in Florida. I haven't been back for about 20 years. I think its time
OMG I was so entertained on how you guys travelled thru walking the city, that was fun!
Thank you so much!🤗🙏
Yes you are correct. Cebu is the potential place to stay for good in the Philippines. Thanks for dropping by my hometown. Hope you enjoyed our famous lechon. 😊
Cebu is really amazing. The food, my goodness!
The food was the highlight 😍
When you are at the very end of the jeepney bench, you pass your fare and so does everyone else same time, your change comes back amazingly fast and orderly. Other way of traveling to save; more local! luv it, the way i would do it to maximize the experience.
Hiya Shev and Dev, love that you drop people's comments about places to visit. Love that you took a jeepney. The way to travel in the Philippines. I have always loved the vibes of the Philippines. Your food looked so good. What a feast. I am hungry now. ☺😂Great video. Always enjoyable and chilled to watch. Good vibes. Thank you for sharing. Have a wonderful week.🤗
Hi Nicky! We hope that we have convinced you to visit us haha!🤩 We are really enjoying the vibes here! so much to do so little time. Thank you as always and enjoy your week!❤
@@ShevandDev 🤩🥰Thank you.
@5:44 that mini bus you ride to SM is the "modern jeepney".
It tends to replace the traditional jeepney, phasing out old jeepney.
it looks like a mini bus but locals still refer to it as a jeepney
try other top Lechon shops like Rico's and Zubuchon, and find out who has the best tasting or a unique taste. 😊
I MISS LECHON!!! 🥰 I’m salivating while you eat! And yes, the crunchy & juicy skin is my favourite!
So Good to see you guys Enjoying Cebu! I enjoyed watching your videos and I hope you could visit Davao City soon. Sending loves and take care always, Shev and Dev! ❤️🇵🇭🎉
HI Jay! Thanks for joining us on our adventures! Sending loads of hugs! Take care always 🤗🥰
Oh by the way i've watched a lot of vloggers and you guys are the first i've seen to ride a jeepney!👏
Aw don’t cry! We are just so happy to be here! We could definitely see ourselves living here 🥰❤️
Yes! Truly Cebu city is the Queen City of the south and in the Philippines 🇵🇭👑
I recommend that you did. Like i said, CEBU is the best combination of city and island life in the country. Or per your experience thus far, metro manila in the middle of palawan. Less the pollution, cost and congestion of manila. How can you top that? lol
And, gateway to other top destinations in phl and other parts of the world (they have an AWESOME international airport)
We love that there is so much to do and see here in Cebu!🥰
hi...from cebu here...thank you for visiting our place...enjoy your stay here and always be careful and cautious..
Do a take out for the food left over for your dinner at home? Filipinos do it all the time. :)
Great video i love it! The food at house of lechon looked soooooooo goooooooood!
love your energy guys, not afraid to try experience anything. Please make it your home base! The Philippines has more to offer!
Aw thank you Noel! We are so happy to hear that and Cebu is definitely a place we are falling in love with 😍
Of all the new foreign vloggers in PH, you’re the most engaging to watch ♥️💚
Aw we appreciate that so much! Always happy to have you here with us! 🥰🙏
Enjoy the jeepney rides and the traditional forms of transport. I think as Philippines continues to modernize its possible they might slowly start to disappear due to regulations or other preferences that may appear.
This is out go-to now haha they are swift and easy to use 😍
If you are still in Cebu by April 27, wait for the inauguration of the Cebu-Cordova Expressway Link, the iconic bridge that was 8 years to build. You will be one of the first vloggers to ever film it. Godspeed.
