Before the "dark times" I stopped into a Jo Malone boutique and the sales lady really upsold me on the myrrh and tonka, taking the time to give a hand/arm massage in the shop with their scented hand cream. It was a great experience, I walked out with a bottle of the perfume and have no regrets. It is a great one to come back to. Very interesting list, going to check out a couple you mention here. Thanks.
Back in 1999, I used to love mixing French Lime Blossom with Honeysuckle & Jasmine. Today, if I were still working in an office I’d be wearing Velvet Rose & Oud. Since I’m working from home, I’m wearing Lancôme’s L’Autre Oud.
I think their most popular unisex scent that also lasts pretty long is the 'Nectarine Blossom and Honey' and the most unique 'Blackberry and Bay'.Not to forget their most popular female scents 'Peony and Blush Suede' as well as 'English Pear and Freesia '.Thank you for this updated list.
Love Jo Malone ! My two favorites are Orange blossom and White jasmine and mint ! I also really enjoy Blackberry and bay : fresh, crisp and some greeny tartness from the blackberry. I smelled Wood sage and sea salt the other day and loved it too. I love this house : easy but elegant fragrances.
I’ve had Lime Basil, and English Oak for different occasions. My next purchase would be Wood Sage and Sea Salt. I really like those woody/grassy scents.
I just blind bought Wood Sage & Sea Salt...a 30ml, it arrived and it's completely my jam! Got online and ordered the 100ml. Will definitely be trying out more of this line now.
As far as the concentration levels go, the Jo Malone rep at the mall who was working the counter told me that the British wanted to separate themselves from the French regarding the labels: If their bottle says Cologne it's the equivalent to that of an EDT; Cologne Intense is supposed to be like an EDP; and the bottles that say Absolu are the "parfum" concentrations.
Oh how I’ve been waiting for this video. One of my fav house. Myrrh and Tonka, peony and blush suede, grapefruit and Pom noir are my faves. Grapefruit was definitely reformulated, I purchased one recently and it’s off
I love your reviews! I have close to 20 bottles of Jo Malone, my favorite now is the myrrh n tonka, when I started w/ JM my fave was the pomegranate noir, both cologne and body cream.
My fave Jo Malone fragrances are Jasmine Sambac & Marigold, Wood Sage and Sea Salt, Earl Grey & Cucumber, Sakura Blossom, Wild Fig & Cassis and Blue Agave & Cacao. I used to buy all their limited edition bottles but they bring out too many for me to keep up!
My favourite is English Oak and Hazelnut. . It's not pretty, or particularly unique, but it has such a clean sharp addictive vibe. Definitely woody, but I enjoy a strange 'pickled' sensation coming from the hazelnuts. I also have Wild Bluebell, which is pleasant, but kinda underwhelming. . Goes into an aquatic direction. 👍
I’ve been late to the JM party… like you Sebastian I’ve had a life long love affair with the exotic, orientals, and the like … and I find these a refreshing change and I love them for bed, out of the shower, to the gym and that sort of thing. I’m in love with Wood Sage & Sea Salt and very interested in the Bronze Wood & Leather and Myrrh & Tonka. Great video, thoroughly loved it! 💞
Every fall I but a bottle of English Pear & Freesia. It’s the perfect fall fragrance that’s not too heavy for Florida weather and I always get compliments on it.
Wild Fig and Cassis is my favorite, too. The reformulation smells the same initially, but wears differently on my skin. Sadly, they’ve retired it again. For fans of the original Jo Malone line (before Estée Lauder discontinued the majority of it) the next archive fragrances to be discontinued AGAIN will be Verbenas of Provence and French Lime Blossom according to a rep for the company. I really dislike what Estée Lauder has done with the brand. Wood Sage and Sea Salt and the Basil and Neroli are the only ones not created by Jo Malone herself that I even like. I also sense a difference in the Grapefruit these days - less fresh more barber shoppy. Such a shame it’s all about making money now instead of creating (and KEEPING) the unique, true to nature scents that Ms. Malone was known for that established the brand. Thanks for the review!
Thank you so much for your always stellar reviews, Sebastian! I love Jo Malone! I really enjoy her takes on “feminine” fragrances - Peony & Blush Suede and Tuberose Angelica, for example. If anyone is interested, Jo Malone did a really amazing interview with Oxford Union which can be found here on YT. She’s an amazingly down to earth, creative soul, and an incredible (self-taught!) businesswoman! 🥰
Myrrh and tonka is my absolute favorite. Next is blackberry and bay. Velvet rose and oud is amazing as well. Although similar to other rose-oud fragrances, this one is more mature and light. What are your thoughts on the dark amber and ginger lily cologne intense?
Love jo Malone! Love violet and amber absolu, gardenia and oud, myrrh and tonka, Scarlett poppy, golden vanilla and vetiver, pomegranate noir, orris and sandalwood
I’m obsessed with my Myrrh and Tonka and now expanding my collection. I’m expecting Velvet Rose & Oud body cream and free gift sample of Peony and Suede to arrive in the mail on Tuesday. Definitely my next purchase is the Bronze Wood and Leather and Vanilla. I own the wild fig and cassis that was gifted by someone. Not really my favorite but great for layering with others though.
I do love many Jo Malone fragrances! In fact two of my all time favourite scents are Wood Sage & Sea Salt, and Dark Amber & Ginger Lily- (I am in love with that one right now) These are such an experience for me as opposed to just a smell.
I do enjoy some of their Limited Edition ones. I think my favorite was the English Fields collection, they were all so beautiful. English Oak & Hazelnut& BlackBerry & Bay are really good too.
My favorite house actually and I love Wood Sage Sea Salt the most as I wear it daily. Sometimes at night I might intensify my scent with Oud & Bergamot.
Love how light and fresh most of the line is - I find most of the fragrance in the North American sphere to be too spicy or syrupy sweet and cloying. This line offers many “ effortless chic” vibe options.
Jo Malone was my entry into niche with Blue Agava & Cacao, when the line was exclusive to Neiman Marcus (2006?). I wore Black Vetyver & Cafe as my signature office scent for years. Current favorites are Orris & Sandalwood, Tuberose Angelica, and Dark Amber & Ginger Lily (all in the Intense line). By the way, I agree the constant changes to the lineup is VERY overwhelming and somewhat confusing. I've moved on to other brands now.
I agree Wild Fig & Cassis is amazing - it's like a woodier and broodier version of Philosykos. I'm surprised Amber & Lavender was not mentioned - such a great classic men's fragrance that stood the test of time.
I had been expecting this video since I subscribed to your channel, as Jo Malone is my very favorite fragrance house! My favorites are Wild Bluebell, Orange Blossom, and English Pear and Fresia - I KNOW, NOT very original, but I SWEAR I loved it waaaay before Kate Middleton started wearing it, haha... I am dying to smell Wild Fig and Cassis! Great video! :)))
I don’t think she wears it but uses the candles in that fragrance. For her wedding she used White Gardenia Leaves by a small company called Illuminatum.
@@cindymaymcguire9258 I would not categorize any of these fragrances as sweet... but I guess English Pear and Freesia does have a little sweeteness coming from the pears.
I really enjoy Velvet Rose & Oud. Makes me think of Jolly Rancher candy whenever I wear it. It's a very dark, jammy rose scent with oud. I had Oud & Bergamot but it did not work all that well for me. Also enjoy Vetiver, which is really bright and fresh and a good layering fragrance.
Sebastian, you just granted my wish. Tried her colognes at counters but never liked them. Can't recall the exact types but have impressions of Bluebell, roses and tea. All gone with the wind within minutes. Definitely will test out your top 5. thank you.
Hi. I’m so happy I found you on You Tube trying to find reviews on Replica perfume, that is new to me. And I adore 3 of there’s at the moment, not tried the others..........I’ve worn Jo Malone for a long time, now, tried so many, but my new one is the Oud & Bergamot & got the Myrrh & Tonka candle, love them to bits, Thank you so such for the informative and fantastic videos you produce, love watching you. Thx. 😆
I like a few of the limited editions. One that stands out is the Lavender & Coriander. I don’t think these were that popular but I loved that one. I use sparingly since I do not want it to run out.
Earl Grey and Cucumber and French Lime Blossom are my two faves. Typically I find colognes too light and have little staying power. But these are just so pretty and realistic smelling. Jo Malone's layer well together and aren't too heavy in the heat.
I'd recommend dark amber & ginger lily especially as the temperature is getting cooler now.. elegantly sweet incense and cinnamon-like scent. like that classic cinnamon luban chewing gum.
I love Jo Malone but the staying power is next to nothing. My favorite Lotus Blossom and Water Lily was discontinued. :( It was the perfect summer scent for me.
As always I enjoy your clips. Found it interesting that the 7 JMs I own, not one made it to your thirteen favourites. Amber and Lavender is great; it smells like the sort of cheap cologne a truck driver might wear.
I wore Amber & Lavender and quite a bit of it late 2000s early 2010s. Even had a full review of it on the old channel. I got tired of it so don't own it anymore. I have worn a ton of JM I just didn't mention them all in the video! :)
My favourite Jo Malone was Pomegranate Noir (went through 3 bottles of it), then I switched to Oud & Bergamot. After your review I am really interested in Wild Fig & Cassis. By the way what do you think of Womanity by Mugler?
How about Jo Malone Jasmin Sambac & Marigold Cologne Intense? This kind of reminds me of 90's Givenchy Insense, and I've been looking for something that's similar to it for years and years. Glad I was given a sample of this. it's a floral but I find it to be a little bit more masculine than most florals
Nice I haven't looked into Jo Malone much. I have always heard about their performance. Do you have any Malin + Goetz fragrances? It seems that most fragrance reviewers have not really spoken about that house. They have some fairly natural smelling fragrances in my opinion and the ones that aren't natural smelling don't smell terribly synthetic.

Lime Basil & Mandarin, Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Wood Sage & Sea Salt are my favs from my collection.
I’m a sucker for their “ English pear n freesia”. Such a delicate inoffensive scent and it lingers so long on fabric
oh cool, i will try it.
Gosh,same here!!!!
Agree and it mixes well with Wood Sage Sea Salt
Same here
Try figs one
I just received my first Jo Malone in the mail today and it’s actually Wood Sage & Sea Salt. So, this video is right on time!
The freshness of these is great. I enjoy Wood Sage Salt as my favorite.
Wood sage & sea salt is definitely for me. I'll get this one for sure.
highly recommend it
I just got it and it’s great! I like how fresh it is and build able with other fragrances.

Jo Malone Earl Grey and Cucumber on a hot summer’s day. So refreshing to wear.
It’s citrus range and amazing for summer!
Amazing scent. I wore this when I know it will be a stressful day 😂
Sebastian, I love the way you have the biggest bottle for every fragrances. Lol. I love Wild Blue Bell. It’s so refreshing unique floral
I love Oud & Bergamot, Myrrh & Tonka and Amber & Lavender. I never realized Oud & Bergamot was similar to Straight to Heaven.
Back in 1999, I used to love mixing French Lime Blossom with Honeysuckle & Jasmine. Today, if I were still working in an office I’d be wearing Velvet Rose & Oud. Since I’m working from home, I’m wearing Lancôme’s L’Autre Oud.

Wow. Unique information
Can you do a “In your opinion most luxurious/high end brands video”? Factoring in stuff like price, quality, bottle quality, availability etc :)
My favourite is Cypress and Grapevine.. simply amazing!
🎯
Oh how I’ve been waiting for this video. One of my fav house. Myrrh and Tonka, peony and blush suede, grapefruit and Pom noir are my faves. Grapefruit was definitely reformulated, I purchased one recently and it’s off

I combine Myrrh & Tonka with Wood Sage and Sea Salt and it's insane, hangs so long on clothes and it's great on the skin aswell
hi is the projection of myrrh and tonka strong?
I recently discovered the brand and my favorite ones are Grapefruit, Vetiver and Golden Vanilla and Myrrh and Tonka. What a beautiful surprise!
Pomegranate Noir was love at first sniff. ❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕 I only wear it in the fall and winter. I look forward to getting it out every year.

Blue Agava and Cacao. Such a unique and indescribable scent combo. Hopefully they bring it back in malls instead of only being sold online in the UK.
Available on their website
I love these "top favorite from a specific brand" videos! Please do Memo Paris fragrances next!

Love Orange Bitters for this time of year, I also like Wood Sage/Seasalt, Basil/Neroli, and Grapefruit (layered). Thanks for the vid.
Lime, basil and mandarin. That’s my favorite. I do struggle with lighter fragrances. Thanks again for your review today.
I like the Mimosa and Cardamon 💕
I’m loving the blackberry & bay 🫐🌿
I just got that today because I read that it's great for layering with my favorite Wood Sage and sea salt.

Jo Malone amazings scents but without perf. My fav it's velvet rose & oud
My favorite right now from the house is oak and hazelnut. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t yet.
Really hope to see Cypress and Grapevine in this list, love the scent!
100% agree!
1. Pomegranate Noir
2. Honey Orange Blossom
3. Cardamon and Mimosa
4. English Pear
5. Myrrh and Tonka

Red Roses is my favorite!

Oh I have a deluxe sample of that English oak and hazlenut - no wonder I never see it I didn’t realize it was an LE.
Love your reviews!
I purchased the Myrrh and Tonka fragrance. I love it. Lasts for 24 hours on my skin. Just love long lasting fragrances.
Thanks for sharing!!
My ❤Myrrh n Tonka arrived today ❤OMG SMells SoooOo BeauTeeFul
Thanks. I have JM Orange Blossom and it has impressed me, I will definitely consider buying another from this brand.
My man im getting a new cologne at the mall and saw Jo Malone and your the best video to watch prior to purchase thanks for your post 🔥
Glad I could help
My favorite house actually and I love Wood Sage Sea Salt the most as I wear it daily. Sometimes at night I might intensify my scent with Oud & Bergamot.
My favorite is Tuberose Angelica. I layer it with their Wild bluebell fragrance.
Lime Basil Mandarin is a top one for me. I also love Bronze Leather.
Scarlet Poppy and Yellow Hibiscus are my favorites! 😍
I have to look into this house again as I ignore them but they have some gems. The Orange Blossom is realistic as you say.
Thanks for bringing up Jo Malone! That's one of my favorite houses! Oud Bergamot and Star Magnolia are great scents!
Thanks for sharing!!
i like : English pear and freesia & i love : Rose water & Vanilla .My next Jo will be MYRRH & TONKA , i have try it and i think is very good
Wearing English Oak and Hazelnut right now. Masculine, but one of my cold weather faves!
Awesome

What other brands could you suggest that are leaning to the natural side and or similar to this one?
I have a few Jo Malone bottles.
I'm loving "Vetiver & Golden Vanilla" and "Oud & Rose" - those are my favourites, in that order.
Blackberry and Bay is my absolute fave
Velvet Rose & Oud and Dark Amber & Ginger Lily are my favs
Mine too.
Absolutely love Myrrh &Tonka and Velvet Rose & Oud.
Same great to layer
I have the yuja and osmanthus blossom, I layer them usually with each other 😁
when i bought oud & bergamot, i got free vial grapefruit and i really like grapefruit smell when i use in Indonesia.
I am literally waiting for my first Jo Malone cologne to show up on my mail today. I ordered Wild Fig and Cassis! I cannot contain the excitement !
oOH that is so darn good. I love that mossy fig green fruity smell. Too divine! :)
I agree Wild Fig & Cassis is amazing - it's like a woodier and broodier version of Philosykos. I'm surprised Amber & Lavender was not mentioned - such a great classic men's fragrance that stood the test of time.
LOVE IT re Wild Fig & Cassis. I don't currently own Amber & Lavender but I wore it and had a review of it on my old channel!! :)

Wild Fig & Cassis is my number one favorite Jo Malone as well!
Sebastian, what do you think of Velvet Rose and Oud by Jo Malone?
I’ve always wanted one, but they usually don’t last long... and I like ones that last
Myrrh and Tonka will last all day
Cypress and grapevine lasts long enough as does Blackberry and Bay.

1. Lime Basil & Mandarin
2. Myrrh & Tonka

I like a few of the limited editions. One that stands out is the Lavender & Coriander. I don’t think these were that popular but I loved that one. I use sparingly since I do not want it to run out.
Yep that is one of the three Jo Malones I own
My fave is peony blush & suede. It lasts 6-8 hours on my skin, maybe because I live in a tropical climate so longevity is not an issue.
My favorite is "English oak & Hazel nut"
English Pear and fig, Pomegranate Noir, Blackberry and ?. These have been my favourites so far.
Correction, English Pear and Freesia, Blackberry and Fig and another lovely one is White Jasmin and Mint; a very happy scent.
Sebastian I've been waiting so long for this video. Finally, I adore this house, you know this. I own many of them.
Hope you enjoy it!
Always overlooked Jo Malone fragrances but definitely a house I want to try
Earl Grey and Cucumber and French Lime Blossom are my two faves. Typically I find colognes too light and have little staying power. But these are just so pretty and realistic smelling. Jo Malone's layer well together and aren't too heavy in the heat.

Their oud and bergamot is soooooooooooooooooo good!

•cypress & grapevine
• myrrh & Tonka
• oud & bergamot
