- Let's go over some Jo Malone London Fragrances! I love this brand and was fortunate enough to work for them for a bit. I use everything from the brand including fragrance, candles, hand and body wash, body cream, diffusers, hair mist, etc.

I was so excited about this video and learning more about these beautiful colognes. I just recently discovered a few of Jo Malone's scents by way of their Cologne Discovery Collection. It is a set of five trial sizes. I love when beauty/perfume brands do this as it's an inexpensive way to find out what you really like before making that pricey commitment. My favorites were the Peony and Blush Suede and the English Pear and Freesia and the fragrance lasts really well for a cologne. I would really enjoy learning about layering scents too!

Im from the UK so I see Jo Malone around a lot but I never realised how much depth they are as a perfumer house. This was a really insightful video, I'll have to go around sniffing next time im in Selfridges!

I love Jo Malone. Wood Sage and Sea Salt and White Bluebell are my favorite ones!
Oooh how different...i like it. With makeup videos one can see the products. But with scent we can't smell the products. But your descriptions were perfect! Whiskey? Yes please! The only thing I've ever known about Jo Malone was that they're Stevie Nicks' favorite candles. I recently got a sample of her Wood Sage & Sea Salt. While it smelled good in the vial, it didn't on me. I love jasmine and need a really ultra-feminine scent. I am looking for a new scent for my hubby as the Michael Kors he wore is now discontinued...of course!! Thank you for a tutorial of Jo Malone 😉❤

Interesting to hear about the Huntsman fragrance as I picked up Whiskey & Cedarwood (labeled as such) in the Bloomsbury Collection. I will trying layering Grapefruit with it. 🙂❤

I love the peony and blush suede in jo Malone, I recently also purchased the blackberry and bay limited edition cologne 😄 very different, I haven’t tried layering these. What would u suggest layering with these two fragrances? The peony and blush suede is my absolute favorite 😃
Wood Sage and Sea Salt is wonderful with Peony and Grapefruit is great with Blackberry.
Have you ever tried LaLabo Santal 33? They sell at Nordstrom. Uber Expensive.

I like cologne but I won't stand in line buying some if that makes sense. I was walking through Nordstrom and I smelled something in the air that got my attention real quick. It was coming from the men's cologne section. Someone was smelling colognes and the Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede was the one this person just sprayed. That shit smells so good that I ended up buying a bottle.
I have Scarlet Poppy Intense from this Valentine’s Day which I enjoy! Is there some fragrance I could layer with this?
I have scarlet poppy intense too. I layer it with dark amber and ginger lily. It’s fantastic if you like oriental scents.
Have you reviewed the rerelease of Rose Water and Vanilla? Would love to hear what that one is like!
I bought my first ever Jo Malone cologne. Its the English Pear & Freesia, it was a blind buy, at first I didn't love it. It smells a little too soapy at first spray, but softens really nicely. I also add a little Givenchy l'interdit to make it more warm. Is there another Jo Malone you would suggest to pair with it? I would sample at the store, but they don't carry and I have to order in.

Great video! Just to let you know: sambac jasmine is a species of jasmine. They’re not separate notes as you described in the video “jasmine” and “sambac”. Jasmine sambac is indian jasmine, much more spicy and dense than jasmine grasse (french jasmine from Grasse)

I'm stuck with Myrrh and Tonka. I get only cloying powder emanating from my skin. Any suggestions to freshen it a bit? Help!

I use CeraVe, on scents I love because it has no scent. For something stronger that you might like less? You could put a floral or green you do like?

What would you layer with bergamot and ouid? I received as a gift. I find it masculine and sharp for my taste.
@@CHERIVOYAGE like a variety but not like super sweet. I like vanilla but it can make me nauseous. I chose the bergamot and ouid because I thought it would be close to orange bitters. Even though that was a holiday fragrance I really liked the way it stayed on my skin and clothes.

@@CHERIVOYAGE next time i will only try a couple of fragrances!Currently i have in use My way by Giorgio Armani , an Hermes one and a niche Italian brand called Isola d'Elba an isle off the Tuscany coast.It is made with local ly grown Mediterranean herbs.My fav Chanel perfume for the summer season used to be' Cristalle.

Why does oud and bergamot dont stay long?
Add the body cream it will create a base for the scent!.

As for poppies & barley? You should see Austrian fields, where the poppy flowers run off into the distance, & the grain fields are sprinkled with poppy blooms that self seeded or were carried by birds… so lovely
