Also the sound of the song is very unique and different and has a nice hip hop sound to it that we don’t get very often in girl groups now imo. I agree with everyone saying that if they stuck together they would’ve been huge. Another talented group gone to waste.

I almost lost my life due to a car accident a few weeks ago. I was sitting on the passenger side and my mom was the driver. She was dropping me off for volleyball practice. We suddenly got collided with another car and I just remember seeing my mom just lying there, confused, it's so vividly stuck in my head. This song really makes me appreciate the fact I'm still alive and so is my mom. I can't even imagine how horrible it would've been if either of us had passed.
No matter how much time passes, this remains the saddest MV/song in all kpop, the message is really beautiful and it’s so nice to see other types of love being represented, thanks The Ark for this masterpiece.

Came back here after Seventeen's Seungkwan played this song in his VLIVE "Remembering KPOP." I have been a SHIELD ever since 2015, and I still miss them so much. Hearing The Light being played on broadcast, though only through VLIVE, felt very surreal. The Ark trended 3rd on Melon searches after the VLIVE. Seeing them on the chart... I am once again thinking of what could have been if they were only promoted well. I still hope all five members, Minju, Euna, Yujin, Suji and Jane reach their dreams! They are so talented and work so hard. We're in this for life, SHIELD! Still here for THEARK, and would never leave.

It’s truly a crying shame this group had to disband. They are so talented, and they have great chemistry. Their live performances are just about perfect with the singing, rapping, and dancing. These girls were the whole package. They were beautiful, talented, and I wish they could come back somehow. It makes me really sad 😔
I think I have a theory about the students on the bus that kinda relates to the Sewol accident So the girls on the bus represent the students on the Sewol and how they flung to the side when the ship took a sharp turn that caused the ship to start sinking and the news on the tv was suppose to be where the mom found of about the accident that happened to her daughter like what happened when the news reported the sewol accident

Wow... I knew when I saw the teaser that SOMETHING tragic would happen in this video when I saw the daughter running away, laughing in slow motion. My guess was right. This video made me cry SO much. It made me think about the most recent tragedies in K-Pop/Korea (such as the Ladies' Code + Sewol Ferry incidents). I can't even imagine what the parents of those who were lost went through + are still going through. You REALLY never know which day will be your last or the last with a loved one. The Sewol ferry tragedy was awful. This song is so beautiful and I’m glad it was made. I cannot not imagine the pain of watching your child go somewhere that you thought they’d be safe and protected, just for them never to comeback home, but to only come back home in a casket or urn. Tragic enough by itself, but I looked up about the tragedy (because of this mv). Response & so many things in so many ways got screwed up (like refusing international help & offers that countries were extending - because they didn't want to seem 'weak' on the 'world stage'). But the one thing that pisses me off the most is the choice made with the parents. Because obviously they were terrified. The kids were still trapped, still drowing, still dying, still in danger. And they contacted the parents (or communicated with them). AND LIED. They lied to the parents & told them that their children were ok. That they were safe & out of danger, while it was still the farthest thing from the truth. The additional pain that those parents had to go through because of the false hope they were 'gifted', and then learning the actual truth. Out of everything, that's the part that makes me so angrily appalled. As opposed to this mv, where I inevitably end up crying. Both when watching the mv & just listening to the song (granted I see the mv/parts of it in my head while just listening).
I come back here, one year after my friend lost his little sister in a tragic accident. Sadly, i witnessed it. His mother and sister were both involved, his mother was fine, but she saw her daughter dying. I myself can never forget how heart broken she was. Her cry in that hot summer day would probably haunt me for the rest of my life. Maybe that's why i cry so much every time i watch this music video.... To the little girl i never get a chance to meet. You'd been awesome. Your family, your friends, and we all gonna miss you. Rest in peace you beautiful little soul.

The time when the bus started to lost control but they didn't know what's really happening and still laugh and making fun with friends because they never imagined their school trip will be a tragedy is the most saddest part to me. It reminded me of the time when sewol ferry started to sink and all the victims don't know everything, they just laugh, joking around with friends without knowing its their last trip together. Out of every debut since I became a K-Pop fan in 2014, this one stuck with me. I remember the day I watched this, feeling emotional and loving the song, then waiting eagerly for a comeback that would never be. I feel like, had they had a better company, The Ark could've been an iconic third generation group yet, they already are, with only one song to their name that'll be remembered by fans for life.

It’s truly a crying shame this group had to disband. They are so talented, and they have great chemistry. Their live performances are just about perfect with the singing, rapping, and dancing. These girls were the whole package. They were beautiful, talented, and I wish they could come back somehow. It makes me really sad 😔

I think I have a theory about the students on the bus that kinda relates to the Sewol accident
So the girls on the bus represent the students on the Sewol and how they flung to the side when the ship took a sharp turn that caused the ship to start sinking and the news on the tv was suppose to be where the mom found of about the accident that happened to her daughter like what happened when the news reported the sewol accident

This made cry so much. The story and song is so beautiful. After I watched this mv I started to look up the Sewol ferry accident and it really hurts my heart. Those teenagers that didn't survive had dreams and didn't want to die. It made me realise I should appreciate everything in my life. It also makes me so sad that that captain told all the passengers to stay still, there would be so many people that could survive if he evacuated them. R.I.P all the people who didn't survive😔😢

Wow... I knew when I saw the teaser that SOMETHING tragic would happen in this video when I saw the daughter running away, laughing in slow motion. My guess was right. This video made me cry SO much. It made me think about the most recent tragedies in K-Pop/Korea (such as the Ladies' Code + Sewol Ferry incidents). I can't even imagine what the parents of those who were lost went through + are still going through. You REALLY never know which day will be your last or the last with a loved one. This is such a beautiful MV + an even more beautiful + meaningful song. "We're in this for life.." ~~ Such a beautiful debut from The Ark...

When I realized that this MV was a tribute to the Sewol incident I got so sad. It’s so sad that this group disbanded. This song really gave me comfort and I wonder what else they would’ve wrote/sung about.

The Sewol ferry tragedy was awful. This song is so beautiful and I’m glad it was made. I cannot not imagine the pain of watching your child go somewhere that you thought they’d be safe and protected, just for them never to comeback home, but to only come back home in a casket or urn.

Tragic enough by itself, but I looked up about the tragedy (because of this mv). Response & so many things in so many ways got screwed up (like refusing international help & offers that countries were extending - because they didn't want to seem 'weak' on the 'world stage'). But the one thing that pisses me off the most is the choice made with the parents. Because obviously they were terrified. The kids were still trapped, still drowing, still dying, still in danger. And they contacted the parents (or communicated with them).
AND LIED. They lied to the parents & told them that their children were ok. That they were safe & out of danger, while it was still the farthest thing from the truth. The additional pain that those parents had to go through because of the false hope they were 'gifted', and then learning the actual truth. Out of everything, that's the part that makes me so angrily appalled. As opposed to this mv, where I inevitably end up crying. Both when watching the mv & just listening to the song (granted I see the mv/parts of it in my head while just listening).
I come back here, one year after my friend lost his little sister in a tragic accident. Sadly, i witnessed it. His mother and sister were both involved, his mother was fine, but she saw her daughter dying. I myself can never forget how heart broken she was. Her cry in that hot summer day would probably haunt me for the rest of my life. Maybe that's why i cry so much every time i watch this music video....
To the little girl i never get a chance to meet. You'd been awesome. Your family, your friends, and we all gonna miss you. Rest in peace you beautiful little soul.

The time when the bus started to lost control but they didn't know what's really happening and still laugh and making fun with friends because they never imagined their school trip will be a tragedy is the most saddest part to me. It reminded me of the time when sewol ferry started to sink and all the victims don't know everything, they just laugh, joking around with friends without knowing its their last trip together. Without knowing their life will end in the middle of the sea. Its really break my heart. The short story that they trying to delivered to us in this mv is so good and clear. Out of every debut since I became a K-Pop fan in 2014, this one stuck with me. I remember the day I watched this, feeling emotional and loving the song, then waiting eagerly for a comeback that would never be. I feel like, had they had a better company, The Ark could've been an iconic third generation group yet, they already are, with only one song to their name that'll be remembered by fans for life.
