걸그룹 몽환계 명곡 오브 띵곡. 공기가 선선해지고 가을의 느낌이 물씬 느껴지면 정말 평소보다 더 많이 듣게 되는 곡. 타이틀 곡은 물론 수록곡들까지 모두 다 주옥같다. 하지만 활동 당시 곡 길이도 길고 그룹 인지도도 많이 없던지라 무대에서 한 곡을 다 부르지도 못하고 짧게 편집한 곡으로 불러야만 했던 그때의 오마이걸. 클로저때부터 쭉 지켜보았던지라 어려운 무명시절 꿋꿋이 버텨내고서 오마이걸의 이름이 조금씩 알려지며 1등하는 곡들이 점점 생길수록 진짜 뿌듯하다. 말 그대로 성장형. 하지만 이제 성장은 그만하고 다른 대형 기획사의 아이돌 그룹들처럼 그냥 대박이 나주면 안되는걸까? 너무 큰 욕심인지도 모르겠지만 그런 날이 있다면 이제 조만간일듯 싶다. 정말 열손가락처럼 안아까운 멤버가 없는 그룹 오마이걸, 생각보다 자신들을 지켜봐주고 응원해주는 팬이 많다는 것을 알고 어깨 펴고, 당당히 씩씩하게 활동해주면 더 바랄 여한이 없다. 오마이걸 화이팅!
I've been casually aware of Oh My Girl for a couple of years. But I never got into their discography. Shame on me. I only just discovered this masterpiece today. Had me sobbing, it's that epic. The story told in the lyrics makes me want to sob every time I hear this. I hope I can see them in concert someday. 😭

IT DIDN'T?!? When I first saw it on Simply Kpop I FELL IN LUV. And back then I usually was a total boy group stan (just the preferred music style and darker voices) and you tell me it didn't got any win? Every time I listen to this song it feels like I'm in a different universe. There's just something about this song that makes reality alter. It's a weird but good feeling.
Maybe because this song was written for a Christian praise song but because OMG liked it so much they got it & turned it into a kpop song. Most Christian contemporary songs have this vibe where it elevates a person in feeling or state of mind to a difference sphere. Check out Hillsong United/Worship, Bethel Music, or Elevation Worship.

I hate how underrated Oh My Girl is. People say that they are not special and just like any "cute" girl group. But if they had just taken some time to actually watch their music videos and live performances then they would know that Oh My Girl is the most unique girl group in K-Pop right now. and even if a song seems like a "typical" gg song ...it's not. I remember when I watched their cupid performance. I thought "something about those girls is different. this song is somewhat different from other "cute" concept songs" OMG has been releasing the most amazing music since debut and people aren't even giving them a chance... *But the way I see it (and that already since they debuted) they are extremely special and imo the best and most unique girl group of this generation*

yes, while i do agree that this song should be known more, it's not very underrated considering the views. one group i stan, their debut mv NOM came out last november and has only reached 100k views recently. people will call big groups like straykids and ateez underrated but there are groups i follow on Instagram that don't even have 10k followers

Ifans will praise anything what marketed as girlcrush without any critical thinking, but don't pay attention to gems like OMG.

eventho this song was underrated, it still give a huge lift for OMG's popularity. people have more interest in this group because of this song, so i think that's why Liar Liar is a little bit more popular than Closer and OMG get more well-known now. Still, this is a very magical and beautiful song, i think there's no other group that can make it this beautiful just like how OMG did

I hate how underrated Oh My Girl is. People say that they are not special and just like any "cute" girl group. But if they had just taken some time to actually watch their music videos and live performances then they would know that Oh My Girl is the most unique girl group in K-Pop right now. and even if a song seems like a "typical" gg song ...it's not. I remember when I watched their cupid performance. I thought "something about those girls is different. this song is somewhat different from other "cute" concept songs"

yes, while i do agree that this song should be known more, it's not very underrated considering the views. one group i stan, their debut mv NOM came out last november and has only reached 100k views recently. people will call big groups like straykids and ateez underrated but there are groups i follow on Instagram that don't even have 10k followers
