In case anyone's still confused, GD and TOP and the rest of the BB members are close friends. The actress was GD's girlfriend but she pretends to cheat on him with TOP because she was diagnosed with cancer, hence her hair falling out (chemotherapy). She wants GD to hate her for betraying him and therefore make it easier on him when she dies but it's actually destroying him so much that the OTHER BB members hurt watching him. Seungri tries to let him know but Daesung stops him. They're all at the hospital for the final operation and Taeyang informs GD about the surgery. He runs to her. When he gets there, he still doesn't know the real reason behind why TOP and his gf were "together". That's when TOP stops him and reveals the truth. This breaks GD's heart. When they roll her out of the operating theatre, it's too late because she didn't survive the surgery. And that's the plot of one of k-pop's saddest MVs.

People keep comparing them with new Kpop groups like BTS or EXO, and no arguments that the new generation of Kpop is extremely talented, but to be unorthodox and sketch out a new road totally different from previous generations is extremely difficult. It's like instead of flowing the same old way along with other artists, these "rebels" erased all the old approaches to music and built new ones, just like the evolution of a kingdom. So please people, stop comparing them because their is no fair way to say who is better, but rather just enjoy all of their music.

It shows how the industry back then was still aiming for the Japanese market and the Korean wave was just starting to open up. Now K-pop is targeting English speaking audiences as well as Spanish speaking audiences, and more! Sad how some of the new generation K-pop fans don't know how hard these 2nd gen K-pop artists worked to propel the Korean wave to where it is now.
