F(x) is really the only girl group in kpop whose constantly pushing the boundaries with their sound with each comeback. Just like shinee, fx's comebacks are always creative, unique and showcase their vocals and talent every single time. I feel bad for the kpop fans who don't know about fx

They do! They are one of the only few possible kpop groups to break into US markets. They have so much potential. I can already imagine even luna having a successful solo when I think about it. The fact that they gained so much attention without being promoted properly shows a lot. Really.

fx가 edm을 활용을 많이했는데 이곡은 진짜 퓨처하우스가 나온지 1~2년밖에 안된 상황에서 거의 국내 최초로 퓨처하우스를 선보였죠... 이때까지만 해도 실험정신의 장르라 제대로 정돈되지도 않았던 장르였는데.. 국내에서 이정도 퀄리티 곡이 나온것도 그땐 놀라웠고 (특히 한국 edm pop은 장르 세분화가 안된 짬뽕 트랙이 많았음) 이 이후로 엠버랑 루나도 dj들이랑 활동한것도 몇곡있고... 조금만더 계약 했으면 어땠을까 생각이 듭니다.. 요약- 한국에서 초라한 edm장르를 어느정도 인지도를 올려준 그룹 진짜 클럽음악이 아닌 대중음악으로 선보일수 있다는 가능성을 열어줌
It's 2024 now, and Kpop has a lot of groups of 4th-5th generation mostly debuts with the Y2K concept, vaccuous lyrics... but no one can defeat the unique concept of f(x). Tbh, I'm not a MeU; I've just been a K-pop fan since 2012, and some of f(x)'s songs are included in my own playlist, but every time I listen to this "4 Walls", I feel nostalgic and miss f(x) so much :( I believe that Kpop must have an unique group like f(x)
The simplicity for this music video left me speechless. And, that vintage effect suits perfectly for the song. Lovely! After Girls' Generation, this group is my favorite.
f(x) is one of those rare K-pop girl groups that feel genuine. Their talent, personality, and their chemistry all feel real, and unlike most other girl group members, they are people that I would love to meet and befriend. I do wish SM would have more faith in their potential and invest more in these beautiful girls, but f(x) still manages to shine through anyway. Maybe times can get a little rough, but I feel that because they are so strong as a family, they will always prevail. And look how far they've come! Here's to the successful years that surely lie ahead! Fighting, f(x)! I will always support you guys
+xiao selina I always read comments like sm hates fx... ect. I Do not think that is true they promote them different as a part of the over all strategy they have for the group. Vic, Krystal, and Sulli have always been out there pushing the brand. Amber got hurt early, but she has had eyes on her from the beginning just because of her concept she is crazy networked has the song 4 you gig, time to write and they gave her a solo release. Luna has been the one with the least exposure, some immortal song and mask singer there must be a reason she is too valuable of an asset for them to have kept her with such a low profile because she can really sing. I thought the no concert thing was related to Krystal's health, but with one announced now maybe it was Sulli all along. The truly impressive part about fx to me was the way they treated Sulli, girl melted down in the middle of a promotional cycle and the members took it in stride and shut it down. Compare that to snsd who just thru Jessica away like a used Kleenex, and now she is just somebody they used to know. To sum up I think fx is marketed differently than the other girl groups because they are different and SM did not force them to be like the rest.
You don't need millions and millions of views to prove that a song is beautiful and well made. This song was chosen to be in the Top 3 songs of the year last year by music critics, and in the Top 10 for albums of the year. Musically, this song holds beauty, class, and interpretation that most bubble-gum Kpop songs lack. Hell, it's even addicting.

youtube views dont matter as much as actual sales. f(x) did really well with their album sales and 4 walls was a pretty good success. shinee doesnt get a lot of views but they make more money for sm than even exo does (granted, shinees huge in japan)

i don’t think sm wasted them, i think they were just unlucky. victoria was stuck in china because of politics conflict with korea and then luna solo debut wasnt reallt successful and they just couldn’t come back together because they were so busy

(특히 한국 edm pop은 장르 세분화가 안된 짬뽕 트랙이 많았음)
이 이후로 엠버랑 루나도 dj들이랑 활동한것도 몇곡있고... 조금만더 계약 했으면 어땠을까 생각이 듭니다..
요약- 한국에서 초라한 edm장르를 어느정도 인지도를 올려준 그룹 진짜 클럽음악이 아닌 대중음악으로 선보일수 있다는 가능성을 열어줌
It's 2024 now, and Kpop has a lot of groups of 4th-5th generation mostly debuts with the Y2K concept, vaccuous lyrics... but no one can defeat the unique concept of f(x). Tbh, I'm not a MeU; I've just been a K-pop fan since 2012, and some of f(x)'s songs are included in my own playlist, but every time I listen to this "4 Walls", I feel nostalgic and miss f(x) so much :( I believe that Kpop must have an unique group like f(x)

f(x) is one of those rare K-pop girl groups that feel genuine. Their talent, personality, and their chemistry all feel real, and unlike most other girl group members, they are people that I would love to meet and befriend. I do wish SM would have more faith in their potential and invest more in these beautiful girls, but f(x) still manages to shine through anyway. Maybe times can get a little rough, but I feel that because they are so strong as a family, they will always prevail. And look how far they've come! Here's to the successful years that surely lie ahead! Fighting, f(x)! I will always support you guys
+xiao selina I always read comments like sm hates fx... ect. I Do not think that is true they promote them different as a part of the over all strategy they have for the group. Vic, Krystal, and Sulli have always been out there pushing the brand. Amber got hurt early, but she has had eyes on her from the beginning just because of her concept she is crazy networked has the song 4 you gig, time to write and they gave her a solo release. Luna has been the one with the least exposure, some immortal song and mask singer there must be a reason she is too valuable of an asset for them to have kept her with such a low profile because she can really sing.
I thought the no concert thing was related to Krystal's health, but with one announced now maybe it was Sulli all along. The truly impressive part about fx to me was the way they treated Sulli, girl melted down in the middle of a promotional cycle and the members took it in stride and shut it down. Compare that to snsd who just thru Jessica away like a used Kleenex, and now she is just somebody they used to know.
To sum up I think fx is marketed differently than the other girl groups because they are different and SM did not force them to be like the rest.

This song was chosen to be in the Top 3 songs of the year last year by music critics, and in the Top 10 for albums of the year.
