Far Cry Primal is so underrated, it's the only Far Cry that stands out from the other games in the series. Sure it has the same core gameplay, but the prehistoric setting is what sets it apart from the other games. I loved Primal, I'd be excited if they ever announced a Far Cry Primal 2.

@@Avatar93700 If you play FC2 with the realism + redux mod it's almost like the remastered version of it. It fixes respawns on the roads, gun jam frequencies, updates graphics etc. really good stuff
far cry primal really is in the love hate typa thingy, i personally love it and I would put it in s tier, but you had some valid arguments and there's a lotta people that think the same way I do or you do about it, but I've never seen something in between that, like u either love it or hate it
In my opinion the backpacks in Far Cry 6 were way too situational in that some weren't even worth using half the time. However, that back pack that let you mark enemies through walls and even shoot them(with the use of the special gun that came with it) was honestly broken as it would one shot most enemies and you could shoot through tanks. On a side note, I'm a sucker for rpg-like mechanics in most games and that Heisenberg outfit you can buy honestly bumps up the game for me.
For me, unironically, Blood Dragon was the most enjoyable. The whole atmosphere and graphics are really beautiful, the gameplay style feels quicker and more fun, the story is good for itself. I really wish that they would continue Blood Dragon, but they probably won't. It's also funny! A perfect game for me!
What makes Far Cry 5 the best one is how free you are in the open world. You can go anywhere from the start, you don't need perk points to unlock the ability to stealth kill heavies or do takedowns that involve verticality. Scaling back on the RPG mechanics did the game a huge favor. This is why Far Cry New Dawn was a big step back and it's baffling why Ubisoft added a level system.
But is it really good to be that free in an open world? Where is the sense of progression, how do specific zones become interesting if they are all the same difficulty and reachable etc. I think for example Gothic 2 is a great example on how an open world should work.
@@Plemp. The sense of progression in Far Cry 5 is the reputation system. Each region got harder as the game went on. The game would also pluck you out of whatever you are doing for the story too, which is jarring admittedly. There's not any real difference between each region in Far Cry 5. There wouldn't be any point in locking regions behind progress, which is the mistake that previous games made. If later areas were actually different, then I would see the point. Edit: Far Cry Primal is the only exception, since some areas are cold and can freeze to death.

Far Cry 2 is one of those games where if a remake is done right it will be one of the best games of the decade. Far Cry 3 is the only other Far Cry I played which was fantastic at the time. Have Far Cry 4 as a free download from years ago and I'm considering 5, the others don't interest me.
My personal favorite is far cry 5 cause I love the forest woodsy setting even though It takes place in Montana And the map reminded me so much like Oregon if u go to forest part of Oregon that’s just me though
I loved far cry 5's story and the resolution in new dawn, it wrapped it up nicely and showed how flawed us as humans could be... It made me rethink some things in my life.
I would personally bump primal up to B mainly cuz its the most unique entry to the frenchise. I also really liked the whole pet system it had and the differences in weather depending on where you were on the map. The story was mehh tbh. Uuga buuga bad neanderthals and evil witch lady needs to die . I did like some of the characters tho.

once you understand far cry 2 , it becomes a phenomenal experience. Every thing about it is s tier. And the graphics hold up beautifully, played on one x. Its just over 4gig , which really surprised. The object damage and firing a RL are such grandiose moments that no other far cry has equalled. 3 and 4 close but no cigar.

I agree 100% with you on your Far Cry 5 review. Loved the gameplay. The gunplay is great. I loved the world. I also loved the sountrack. But I also hated the voiceless protagonist and story. And the ending... Oh that #$&@ing ending 😡
Never get into Far Cry for the stories. Especially 6 and that emptiness of an ending. Its all about gunplay and gameplay. In that regard for me at least: Blood Dragon>5>3>4>New Dawn>6>Primal>1>2. 2 just doesn't respect my time. It takes too long to arrive to the action. If there were more save travel options, then yeah I'd probably had enjoyed it a hell of a lot more. But I got a daily 10 hour job here. My gaming brain endorphins are only triggered when I get to enjoy the best parts of the action games I play...which is the ACTION.

I would recommend Far Cry 4, since it has roughly the same gameplay as FC3, but much more refined and with more features. It also is the last Far Cry game before 5, which started deviating from the traditional structure of its predecessors. To top it all off, it has co-op. If you can only play 1 game, play FC4.
Far cry instincts predator will always be n1 for me I no its dated now remember the feral speed strength etc playing it on 360 getting into it. far cry 2 far cry 6 my least fav.

FC3 is by far the best game of the entire Far Cry franchise, no other game even comes close. FC4 is good, but there's no way you can put it on the same level as FC3.

I really didn’t enjoy FC5. Especially the gunplay in that game felt straight horrible however the villains were nice. I just recently bought FC6 Gold for like 15$ and I’m loving it, it finally feels like a good far cry game again sice FC3, but I agree, the map is huge for it’s own good however the side quests are a lot of fun and it feels like they really but some work into it. They arent generic and a lots of times I’m actually really suprised not to mention the Stranger Thing cameo.
I loved far cry 5, playing it now on ps5 it’s feels clunky, but the story the weapons, the progression made me love it. I’m getting ps plus extra so I can finally play primal and new dawn, I don’t really have interest in playing the any of the earlier far cry games. I’ll get far cry 6 when it’s on sale again I missed it

In my opinion is was just boring and bland, i hated the leveling system, like i want to use my 1911 but i cant since its a level 2 gun i think and im going up against the strongest enemys. Farcry 5 is much better in my opinion, the world, villian, and guns just were so much better.

Far cry 2 definitely needs a remake or a remaster. It’s one of the best and still graphically impressive. I hope Ubisoft considers it one day.

I never tire of crafting. Even farming I love to an extent. Technically, Far Cry 4 had levelled enemies.

Completely agree with Far Cry 4 being the best Far Cry game. The only thing 3 has over 4 is Vaas, that's it. Everything else is an improvement.

Personally, graphics are always secondary to gameplay and feel but then I'm well into my 40s, so I've seen a lot of graphic changes.

bro farcry 5 and 6 are way better than far cry 4 what are u smoking on😂💀 the story lines shit on farcry 4s the beginnings are way more intriguing, storys better, gameplay graphics better villains better, protagonist better, weapons better , open world/ maps better its like u never played 5 or 6 this tierlist was god awful and 5 is the best farcry by miles and its only knock is that the protagonist doesnt speak.
