I've found wired headsets are less expensive than they were before wireless became mainstream. I remember Turtle Beach headsets that were displayed with the demonstration bench costing more than they are today. Either I'm remembering wrong, but getting a pair of the Turtle Beaches was harder than it is today, especially the old-school wired headsets. Nowadays, the wireless headsets that they produce are around 100 USD retail. This is how much I remembered the wired headsets were back in the day and even costing more than 100.
Thanks for the review…this right now is the leader on my choice of headsets to get. The only concern is: is it loud enough? I’m slightly hard of hearing and I’ve found a lot of sets just don’t get loud enough for me. Any help would be appreciated.
Hello! I just want to know what its like now. Did any of it break? Did anything stop working? Please I really want to know because a bunch of people are saying it's great but other people are saying it breaks easily. I don't want to buy it and it only works for 2 weeks.
My son uses it several times a week and is pretty hard on them (he's young). They still work well, both the mic and speakers. No breakage of any kind yet. Some headsets break regardless is price but from my experience they've been great. Another to consider is the Roccat Elo X Stereo which we also reviewed. It's a little more money but higher quality.
I used it for quite a while so I might be able to answer this. The mic did break off the headset after a few months so you might want to be careful of that. The actual speaker ok and the exposed wire (the two near the headband) hasn’t broke at all. I hope that reading this has helped you into thinking about either buying the product or not.
@@GadgetryTech hey, I have the exact same silver one and I noticed that they are very low on my ps4 slim and I tried them on my laptop and they are very very loud, do u think it's the headset or it's the console bc I'm thinking of getting a new headset bc these are way too low for a ps4 headset
If you find them on sale for $30 this is an even better deal. I think they have a good balance of sound quality at this price point, but the Roccat Elo X Stereo headset is a better value at $50 (msrp) or $40 when it goes on sale.
I got these, they used to sound good, then i got a sony oled tv, now they sound absolutely crap in comparison. Also they make my ears hot af, not sure if its the headphone or my ears. Got for 15usd, i felt like money wasted i cant use them they sound bad than tv and uncomfortable bcoz hot.
It works on a combo jack (TRRS) which means it's a single cable for both headphone and microphone. Most new laptops feature this jack, but desktops still separate them. I usually suggest a USB headset for the PC like the Elite Atlas Aero or PS4 version of the Stealth 600 Gen 2. Otherwise a less expensive wired USB headset will work as well.
@@GadgetryTech Im impressed these are actually really good, very comfortable after hours of usage, sound is crisp and mic sound quality is pretty good. the only con i can give these is that they're not the loudest on max volume, but thats also a good thing.
I've been looking at a couple reviews for this headset and this was the best one so far, thank you!
That Mike quality sounds amazing
Some people compare it to expensive Audio Technica mic and just say it's bad.

In game can people hear you properly with this headset as mine is coming tomorrow
With Dolby Atmos there's more than enough bass at least in Gears 5.
been using some for a year and gotta say cod cold war no one got a chance against me using these.
Will it work for next generation consoles as I am buying these and I do not want to upgrade again when I get the ps5
It will work via the controller as long as they have the headphone jack output on them.
They work
Hello 2020 survivor! This enjoyable scenes! I can't compare. I found your channel unique. I love the feel of this. the ending got me puzzle btw
Is the sound loud enough ?
They can get loud enough but it depends on what's powering them to be honest.

Loud enough to not require an amplifier.
where do you find the silver pairs?
If u go on amazon search it up and just put silver at the end
