Great video! I loved the editing in this one, it was awesome! Very creative and well put together. The machine upgrade was nice removing some bottlenecks, and the raw performance increase in Quake 2 will save you so much time! Seriously though nice upgrade and I'm a fan of air cooling.
Thanks man, I need to take some cues from you in lighting though. 👍 Yeah, I was really looking forward to that increase in performance, now I can finally play Quake 2 in 500+ fps.
Thank you, man! I've never had a "fancy" water cooler before the one I was using here, but been there, done that now, mistakes were made, lessons were learned lol. The beefy air cooler suits me better, more efficient and quiet. Have a great weekend, my friend.
Nice one Sucra! Good recovery from your donkey moment with the cpu! 🤣 -5 db is a big improvement too. Looking forward to more of your quality vids, cheers for now!
You're the best, Ted. It was one of those moments you start sweating 🥵 hah. Unbending pins is usually so easy, but these are so small you get into the same problem you have with Intel socket pins, you can't really make them out without proper equipment, which I obviously don't really have 😂 I'm happy it worked out though. The noise thing was good. The fan noise used to really bother me. Thank you for the support, Ted. Have a great weekend! 👍
Good on ya! Air for life! my Noctua D15s still has a single fan on low power, and my 5950X is handled really well. Also Ryzen loves good RAM, and it does help. Latency is important and good motherboards helps there.
One fan? That's impressive. Mine is holding on great now, lower temps, lower noise levels. I really needed the extra ram for editing, all good now. Have a great weekend, Al. 👍
I think the Quake RTX performance boost is perhaps of resizable bar support and a higher PCIe standard / bandwidth. Nice upgrade! I did go to a 5800X with RTX 3080 myself a while back (coming from 1700X and GTX 670 lol).
Hey! Unfortunately resizable bar only came after zen 2, I'm still on 1. But yeah, I'm satisfied for now and it's good to know there's also that as extra performance boost when I ever upgrade the CPU. Have a great day man, thanks for taking your time to stop by and write a comment. 👍

Oh yeah that's a crazy fast chip. I'm considering upgrading the CPU, it'll give me a boost, but I don't really need it right now. Thanks for the comment! 👍
I'm a huge fan of Thermalright True 140 Power, they used to be found cheap on eBay ($25). Huge, lengthy (171mm height), 6-8mm pipes, and a 140mm fan. Unfortunately incompatible with recent sockets.
Oh, that's unfortunate indeed. I'm impressed with this guy so far. Keeps the CPU cooler at the same time that it makes less noise, so perfect. Have a great day! 👍
Yeah, it definitely would, I'm just not interested right now, but it's good to have the option though. Anyway, thanks for taking your time to post a comment here! 👍
Nice video ! Good luck with 4k editing 😁
Thanks, man! 😅
Hey, nice intro. It's great to see you finally find out the time to put together your editing rig and that it was worth all the troubles.
Thank you, Alberto. Not really any troubles, normal me doing things. One step backwards and two forwards 😆 have a great day, my friend.

Very nice upgrade! I use an air cooler as well and love it.

Kudos for not editing out the cpu blooper. It happens to all of us.
Hah, yeah sometimes it feel like I have two left hands. Thanks! 👍

Really gorgeous cpu cooler SUCRA!!! 🙂
Thanks, it's a beast. Huge thing probably bigger than my head, maybe, because I got a big head. Probably bigger than a normal person's head.
I have the same mobo it pretty amazing.I use a 5950x smt off .My chip boosts to 5250MHz and a 3070ti. Great video.

Zen 3D would be a huge huge upgrade for that platform, and it will be cheap soon as Zen 4 drops. Maybe sell OG CPU to recoup costs.

nice, i'm still on 2012 computer and 2015 graphics card
It's amazing how long PCs are lasting nowadays. Some 10 year old platforms are still quite usable. Have a great day. 👍
