Thank you for inviting us over ther, it was so much fun. I have so many ideas for new projects now. I hope you're doing well, my friend. I'll be back soon!
Indeed! I could spend hours and hours in there looking through the stuff. You know I'm you're library for old games haha, come over anytime man. Have a great weekend!
Déjà vu, I was with Chris during his last visit! Seriously, Susie is great, and when I stopped by traveling back from VCF East, she remembered me. I missed that Sound Blaster card my last visit (so hopefully someone picked up to enjoy), but I'm totally stopping by L&Y anytime I'm in the area!
This is incredible. That is where I started my computer career 27 years ago while I was stationed in Quantico. I found this video when I came back to Virginia for Drone Flight Academy. With middle weekend of the school tomorrow, I am headed that way tomorrow morning. I cannot believe it is still there!
At multiple points I bet you were just waiting to wake up! I actually owned one of those Xonar STX cards in my gaming PC circa 2009, and it was quite good for the time, and conveniently had a headphone amp built in.
That was Rik when he saw all the big box games haha. But yeah, we had a heck of a good time. We were considering doing another trip there on the day Rik left, we decided not to because of time constraints. Oh, cool about the xonar. I miss having a good sound card. I'm casually looking into getting one. Thanks for watching my friend, have a great day!
I bought Antalus Rising just for the curious box, no clue what it is. The SB-Pro2 was a great deal and hope it works. On eBay it's often 80-150. The last time I saw a boxed/sealed one (long time ago) was listed for 500 USD.
Same, I really haven't a clue how most of these games go. That's part of the fun isn't it? To look at the thumbnails in the back of the box and wonder what gameplay is like. To see if it looks good and all. That sb-pro was huge for me. The money doesnt really matter at this point, I don't plan on selling anything. I really want to use it. Last time I used and 8 bit sound card was in my family's original 486 in the 90s. So I'm excited to try it, and I have the perfect machine for it to go in.
Very very enjoyable video SUCRA 🙂when you took the Microsoft mouse at the start I said niceeeee, good start. This mouse is my favorite as well like many people as we know. And of course I glad always to see you you guys together in one event🙂
It was great! Yeah this is the store we dream about finding. There must be others around, they're not easy to find for sure. I have to thank Chris for inviting us there.
Oh yeah, their sound card collection was amazing. I really need to get some good ones next time. This time around I only decided buying the sb-pro 2. That was a no brainer.
I don’t normally comment on stuff like this because I generally don’t care too much about it BUT…you need a better microphone (or tweak your current settings or something)
Man what a place. I want to go back, haha. Good thing the latter part of the video was me rambling on so much. But great video and we had a blast!
For sure. It's the number one place I look forward to going back to! Thanks for coming, it was really fun!
Such a fun time. Glad we got a chance to explore. Looking forward to your next visit!
19:18 Xircom PCMCIA card with a dongle! I'll be sure to pick that up next time.

Fab vid. I wish we had places like that in the UK ( actually I don't , I'd be bankrupt within anyear😬).
Thanks! Yeah I don't know if it's good or bad luck not to have one of those around either! Haha
What an intersting place! I dreamed about playing those games when a kid, I wish we had this kinds of places in Brazil.

Yes, I'm aware. I'll have to figure something out.
