One Pages Rules Warfleets: Battle Brothers v. Defense Force

- Warfleets arrives on the channel! This is my first game, so I'm sure I'll get a few rules wrong, and I probably didn't build a great fleet either. Oh well, let's see how fleet combat works in the OPR universe.
The game system is OPR, but all the minis are from the old Battlefleet Gothic game by Games Workshop

Great bat rep. Noticed a number of possible errors but still, not bad for your first game. I’m playing with just the basic rules/stats with my 8 year old son using Star Wars armada ships/squadrons. OPRs is great for resurrecting minis from games no one plays any more (like armada).

Honest, with the lights off they look pretty darn cool, but that tends to interfere with the whole filming thing.

Question for everyone. How effective is the idea of carriers in this game? Are you better off just making a bunch of heavily armed ships and just sprinkle in some fighters? How effective are fighters?
In the one game they were a bottle rocket. You got one turn where they could absolutely smash a single target, but then your left with a massive battleship that isn't doing much. Plus, if your opponent saves like a boss (like mine did), then the one shot you get with the carrier is wasted.

I want a carrier (mostly for flavor). I'll have to really weigh if it is worth it.
I have started printing out a sw rebel fleet (Rebel gorillas), empire (HDF), and ST Federation (still not sure who we are using them as )
Need to see if theres rules for totally not other settings like not Trek, not B5, not BT ect
I've seen people use these rules for ST
I think it would be fun to play a Star Trek game, complete with setting and scenario, but use WF rules.

Those are all the original models for Battlefleet Gothic. They are OOP and so can be a bit pricey, but check out the video I did for SablesBadger minis. He is making an entire line of ships for using in fleets.

What are those models you used? They look great!
Those are the old Battlefleet Gothic models from GW. They sadly aren't in print anymore, but there are lots of STLs that look very similar.
